Is it possible to make it so that if you middle-click the spawner in creative, you get that spawner with that mob? If not, that's alright, but I think it would make a great addition.

Simple but effective. As Femy mentioned, I can confirm it's working perfectly fine on the latest snapshot (19w11b) on my end too. Thanks dude :)

ty so much for this datapack! I just tested it and it worked! had some issues with some of the other datapacks like this one, where the spawner would turn into pig spawners when you are placing them down, and when you silk touched them, to get them back up, it would be a different spawner (like if you got a zombie, it would be skeleton when placing it again etc.) - I tested it in the newest snapshot of 1.14 (19w11b) IT WORKS FLAWLESS!
I want to say thx for Taking time out of your day to make it all spawners!

When you pick them up and place them back down, does it remember which mob was originally in it? Or does it just default to a pig spawner?

It remembers it! Only for the mobs that naturally generate in mob spawners though.

As of version 1.2.0 all mobs work :)
