this is a Corruptor from the videogame "Horizon: Zero Dawn". It was produced by the robotics and technology corporation Faro Automated Solutions (FAS) and designated as FAS-ACA3 Scarab. It was an autonomous combat robot in the Chariot class. In war, it fought alongside Khopeshes and Horuses and was an agile, all-terrain reconnaissance unit. With its tail it is able to fight (for example by throwing rocks) or repair other swarm robots. It also had the ability to slave enemy machines by hacking them and thus integrating them into its own army.

Corruptors were part of the Chariot swarm control was lost over and became known as the Faro Plague, which eventually eradicated all life on earth due to its ability to convert biomass into fuel when needed.

A Corruptor is equipped with a grenade launcher and a spike launcher on top of its head, but also has a repertoire of ranged and melee attacks not using a specific weapon (for example jumping onto the enemy, hitting or ripping it apart with its tail, throwing rocks).

It overheats easily and when it does so, it exposes a cooling rod, which makes it vulnerable.
