This unimaginatively named project is an island on which is built a small farming community. The community includes a number of assets I've already released separately (and you may recognize some of the screenshots used here if you have looked at those other projects), including a small motte & bailey castle and my beacon tower. The rest of the island includes a mix of hand-constructed and third-party designs, including a pig farm, orchard, barn, woodcutter's hut, archer's field and large fields. It is because of my use of all these third-party designs I cannot, in good faith, release this project as a map or schematic at this time. However, until I do gain permission or replace the infringing structures, I thought I'd release some pretty pictures.
Woot! 3 years later, added a 3D-view thanks to Sketchfab.com. Click here to see a nice fully-rotatable 3D-render of the island. Still not downloadable though, sorry.

Helpful hint for any other would be farmers: build on low rolling hills (well, as much as you can get a "roll" with Minecraft's blocky terrain :). Although its hard to make it out when you are right in the fields, the terraced look makes your eye see shadows and textures that aren't really there when viewed from afar. :)
Of course, a diamond is granted.
I still don't know what I am going to do with the far end of the island; right now it's a mostly barren field. Dunno if I want to build it up, make it into more wheat-fields, turn it into forest, or what.
Plus, technically - despite what the images above look like - the island isn't really an island. If you were to look on my map, you'd see it's actually connected to a larger landmass. If i ever /do/ get around to releasing it as a download, I would first alter the landscape so it actually was surrounded entirely by water. I think it works better as an island anyway ;)
