Whew boy, it has been a while since my last project post. But I won't dilly dally, here is a lil project I finished about a year ago.

This home is a 7 bedroom, 5 bathroom house located in the upcoming Rockwell area of Greenfield. This house will be released in the 0.5.4 version of the map, which is not yet out. This homes age is around the late 1990's-early 2000's age, with nice finishings and a somewhat open floorplan. The house was given many bedrooms so it could be used as a rental, but as of now you could say the imaginary family is chilling there just fine all year round. The house has a large kitchen, a unique living room to look out over the ocean, a 2 car garage, a billyards room, and a secret attic hidey hole. All wrapped up into a building that fills ~95% of the plot.

This house and the surrounding area of homes were styled after the Manhattan Beach area of Los Angeles, California, USA. This area of Los Angeles is very densely packed, upper class, and full of uniquely styled houses. I put a little east coast flare into the house, but in the end it really worked out. There are so many unique styles in and around Manhattan Beach that I think it turned out really well fitting in with the surrounding area.

There are some more unique characteristics of this house that you might not have picked up on. From a traditional standpoint, this house is facing the wrong way. The "front" of the house is not really along the road, and the garage is behind. The front door is along a big central walkway that all the houses on the block share. These are all characteristics of houses that appear in Manhattan Beach that were translated to the Greenfield area of Rockwell.
