THE MAP
This project was started back in mid 2019, with the purpose of portraying one of the Nazi regime's most darkest creation in history. Intended mainly as a history project, we wanted to recreate the camp to experience what it would have felt like being there in person, except in Minecraft. Featuring the best accuracy we could do, each building is unique and plays a vital role in the camp's structure. Auschwitz I was one of the first death camps created by the Nazis mainly as a reception center. A dark time in human history, the site today has become a meaningful museum/memorial where people can go to learn about what happened inside the camp. After we finish, our goal is to deliver the best representation of what the camp would look like in Minecraft and allow others to explore and learn more about this place.
