SS Imperator 1913

Dear PlanetMinecraft community,

this is the S.S. Imperator (he/him), an oceanliner by the german shipping company Hamburg-America-Linie (HAPAG). Completed in 1913 he (the german emperor wILHeLm :DDD insisted on titling the ship with masculine pronouns) was the biggest ship in the world and therefore deprived the infamous Titanic of this title. During Imperator's construction the british shipping company Cunard Line also started building the RMS Aquitania which was going to be a bit longer than the Imperator, so the Germans being german (and therefore having a huge ego and massive self-esteem complexes) decided to add a massive bronze eagle with wide extended wings on the ship's bow to make it even longer. Unfortunately, this eagle lost a wing during an atlantic crossing in stormy seas :(
Speaking of Germans being german, they started (or rather escalated in) a world war in 1914 - and lost it. As a result of the Treaty of Versailles and brazen seizures by the United States, HAPAG lost the still brand new Imperator and his sisterships (or brotherships???) Vaterland and Bismarck to the allied Great Britain and USA. So the Imperator made a sex change surgery and became a lady. In 1921 he became the RMS Berengaria and joined Cunard's fleet (which lost RMS Lusitania in WW1 because she was sunk by a german U-boat). Albert Ballin, the general director and great reformer of HAPAG, commited suicide in 1918 because of losing the Imperator class (the pride of the german empire) and having witnessed a fatal and purposeless world war.

But so much for the ship's story. I decided to build the Imperator in Minecraft (once again) and you can download and admire this build.
