If you've ever happened to stumble across one of my builds before, you know that I like to approach Minecraft as an open world RPG. I don't usually go to the trouble of studying village mechanics, spawn conditions and growth cycles in order to facilitate or maximize output. Instead, I like to focus on the immersive aspect of the game – building a place of your own imagination within a vast world of blocks.

This greenhouse and its slightly larger variation are a result of that way of thinking. Are they the most efficient way to produce crops? I wouldn't know. Probably not. If fact, I'm certain they're not – that much I do know. The point is: They get the job done, but unlike a fenced-in 9x9 field that's not all they do. They look (and feel) like actual greenhouses, mostly because they're to scale compared to the rest of the game.

So if you share my idea of how to play Minecraft, I hope you'll find a use for one of the greenhouses. Of course, you can always take the basic layout and customize it to your liking, as well. Switching the copper and bricks to cobblestone and stone bricks would be a good place to start, but you decide.
