READ THIS BEFORE LOOKING AT PICTURES!!!
!The Pictures are part of the real Adventure Map and if you don't want any Spoilers you should avoid looking at them!
This is my first Adventure Map. Its mostly me testing out making a adventure map. I was bored and had no Internet connection for a while so this is what came out of that time. If there is enough intresst I will continue working on Adventure maps, probably will newer ones be better because I now have acess to better tools and support. In a series I call Lost Civilisations. Where you follow Jason trough tons of adventure.
Here is the Entering Note:
""Attention!: Make a copy of the world save and put it into the sves in the .minecraft folder. I strongly recommend this because
There are some ways in the map, that if you choose wrong the map will be game over forever. You will notice this yourself.
So by diong this you can in case of this happening erase the save and then copy in a new version of the save file into saves in
the .minecraft folder.
Be sure to keep the folder with the notes open as you will go to it and read the notes from time to time. DON'T read any
notes until a sign ingame tells you to read it.
Hello And Welcome to my map. I really hope you will have a good time playing this map as I spent alot of time making it.
( Didnt have WorldEdit until the very end :/ so it was alot of mining.) Well back to the actual adventure part.
First there are some rules:
1. No Block Breaking
2. Please no Metagaming ( its for fun not winning ).
3. The map is made to be played on the Hard difficulty (not a rule)
Then to the Texturepack, I have no specific texturepack for this Adventuremap but I did use Dokucraft light.
You choose your own.
Attention!: The checkpoints of the map are beds. The map starts during early nighttime. But during day the checkpoints
wont work I know. Therefore if you have singleplayercommands you are allowed to use "/time night" anytime.
The following mods were used making the map: Toomanyitems , SingleplayerCommands , SpawnerEdit.
In the map there will be signs. 2 different kinds. Some have weird combinations of symbols like: &%/(@£$o ¬£$@$.
These sympolises hieroglyphs from the civilisation. There is either a translation inside ( ) or text telling you to read
a specific note. The Other Type starts and ends with "<><><><>". They actually "dont" exsist in the map but they are there to
tell you to read a note (always) These notes is nothing the civilisation have left behind but they are a short description
of the enviroment and you (they are your feelings/thoughts) and technically isnt in the map. So you can just break them as you
have read the note.
Notes with hieroglyphs are usually divided into to parts. First the translation of the glyphs then your reaction to it.
You can after the game post on the Forum About how you did. What items did you have when you finished the map?
And Now to the backstory:
Jason had finally reached it! After all this years of searching his work finally showed results. He had been
reading about this place for so long. Now he Finally saw it with his own Eyes. It was the ruins of the Underpeople.
The Underpeople ruled a great empire thousands of years ago. But a huge natural Disaster set a stop to their regin
over the surface. They fled to their great city underground. And after this nothing was heard from them since. No
one have either left or entered the Undercity, but Jason was planning to change that. Huge Empires have Huge treasures
and Jason wanted them. Jason was famous for finding ancient Civilisations and Rediscovering Their treasures. This time
is like all others. A grand adventure trough a lost world to get the final treasure. Are you ready? Lets go! You
have just reached the surface ruins and are you ready to enter the underworld?""
Progress:
I have finished building the map. But I have run into a major staller. Due to a redstone bug in 1.7 about 50% of all my redstone circuits selfburnout by themselves without reason. And they do this each time I open the map.But When this Bug is fixed I can start the Testing of the map and then it will be released.
