A recreation of the Supreme Court of the United States, located in Washington D.C. It is home to the Supreme Court, the highest court in the judiciary system. Construction began in 1932, and was completed in 1935. It is modeled off a Corinthian styled temple, with its frieze reading “Equal Justice Under Law” and its pediment adorning various sculptures. Today, it is one of the most visited federal monuments in the District of Columbia, frequented by many tourists to the nation’s capital city.
