Presenting to you my second map ever attempted with worldpainter. I've always loved the look of Norwegian Fjords which geologically are long deep canyons carved through mountains from glaciers during the ice age. The water typically goes very deep and leads out to the ocean where sediment from the canyon builds up and creates a shallow point. My main inspiration for this map was from the tv series "Vikings" from the location where the main Viking town of "Kattegat" is located. This terrain is part of a series of 1K maps I am doing as practice for worldpainter. Anyways, the most important thing is that you must use the Conquest Mod to see this map for yourself, otherwise everything will looked griefed and destroyed.

You must use the [Conquest Mod] to see this terrain for yourself, be sure to download/install the texture pack associated.

The shaders used are called "to much effects (TME)" by Crankerman

P.S. 1) I realize the fjord is scaled down quite abit, wanted to fit it into a 1k map. 2) The snow layer is flat due to a mistake I made early on, learned for next time.
