Wyvernia

Wyvernia is my second WorldPainter map. This took me quite a while to make, spread out over a period of about 2 weeks. To the north of the map are large mountains and taiga/tundra, just south of which are clusters of coniferous forest. In the middle of the map is a large plains section, where the spawn point is. South of the plains is deciduous forest surrounding a plateaued desert and a swamp. Finally, across the southernmost areas of the map, are thick jungles out of which a tall volcano rises. Under the ground is a multitude of caverns and chasms, containing all types of Minecraft ores. Optimized for trade, the map has lowered abundances of sought-after ores like iron and diamond.
