a big 9km² realistic diverse multibiome Minecraft Landscape for survival, creative, coop and server adventures.

Adventure, survive or create, at the most beautiful places in Minecraft and explore all the unique places around the world.

Build a house on a Volcano, or within huge mountains or survive along the rivers and the woods. Find custom caves, mineshafts, coral reefs, advanced biomes, supporter villages, and more.

Note: This is an experimental world and issues are to be expected. In this case - Chests and beds are faulty

🚧⚠ Issues / Things to be aware about

As complexity rises, a small tweak or change can have unintended consequences, flaws, be just poor choices, or I maybe hit certain possibility limits of programs. These maps are really complex and hard to make, with dozens of steps and hundreds of layers to apply in the right order. And I'm just a non-magical-wizard boi making sometimes either a poor decision or an unintended mistake, but I want to let you know what might have an impact when playing this world, and here’s what I´ve noticed:

  • ⚠ General: Lootchests, Beds, Bells, and spawners are buggy right now, therefore spawn incorrectly
  • ⚠ General: The exportation to and from bedrock can have some weird effects on the world, as its pretty untested for edge cases
  • General: Crystal and Dripstone cave can create weird artifacts during the exportation when overlapping with other caves
  • Bedrock: some unexpected blocks can appear, due to errors from the conversion
  • Bedrock: Minecraft heads won't be converted (fruit trees are affected)
  • Bedrock: Due the conversion program, not all biomes could be converted and can result in "plains biome", be aware if you use mods
  • 1.18 Errors: Minecraft Server Error: Outofmemoryerror Java Heap Space
    You do not have enough RAM to run the server or you ran out of RAM while the server was loading in its processes.

    Minecraft Maps Java Installation Guide

    1. Download map by clicking the yellow button at the top right of the description.
    2. On Windows, use keys Windows+R and then typing “%appdata%/.minecraft/saves/” into the command line. (On a Mac, your save files are in: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/saves/). This will open the saves folder
    3. Drag your downloader map (after unzip or unrar) in the zip/rar folderMap into saves folder.
    4. Close windows and reopen Minecraft
    5. .Select your map and play.

    The world is as .mcworld file provided, meaning you just need to execute the file.
    .mcworld is a renamed .zip file, you can rename it to .zip, and import it to your folder manually too.

    Java - Do animals spawn?Animals are definitely spawning but are mostly spread out far.

    Indeed a common issue (mostly java), due to the Minecraft spawn mechanics, is that basically, animals spawn on chunk load/creation. Therefore animals are spread across the entire world
    Bedrock - Do animals spawn?Animals are definitely spawning regularly independent from the terrain (in my experience)
    For 1.18+ Maps, are Crystal Geodes included?Yes across the map are sparsely Geode scattered.
    For 1.18+ Maps, are Copper Ores and Deepslate included?Yes, near 0-20 will be a full layer of deepslate with all ores, Copper Ore is available underground everywhere
    What are your plans with these maps?These are adventure maps, survival maps, creative maps for you to build, play and explore. For my part, I gain new techniques and experience with every new map, building on that for the next and making map by map better maps.
    Do you do commissions?No - since i don't have the time for the additional workload. My Current workload with management, development, and content creation is pretty packed already. But for Youtube Videos and collaborations, I'm open for talks.

      • (Backside info: I've spent hundreds of hours to achieve the knowledge to create those maps. And can spend days creating each Map. For the casual people: I encourage you to play..test and build on these maps. I actually like to see what you can do on/with them. I see my maps as canvases for people to explore and enjoy... what I don't like it when people just plainly say: I made that canvas, that's mine. [​analogy end] It's IP theft, disrespectful, and ungodly frustrating to deal with. And there are either Kids who just entered the internet and don't know better and there are 3rd Parties that do that intentionally)

    Are there versions without structures?No, but the source files are available, with which you can remove structures and reexport the pure map (Explanation: Online Storage Space is my main concern)
    Where are villages?In all the recent maps, Villages are placed near rivers.
    - On PMC you can find often a overview map.
    - You can also import the map into WorldPainter and export a image/overview map from there.

    How can i remove the Villagers?/kill @e[​type=!player] (kills everything except the player)
    Can I build on the map and sell it?Redistribution and commercial redistribution is NOT allowed
    Can i continue playing your map after the subscription has ended?ofc, every map you´ve downloaded until subscription end is on your pc, where you have full control over the map
    Map recommendations?Checkout maps with a "🌟", these are my recommended ones
    Bedrock: I´ve Spawned in water/vanilla area where's the map/spawn?You´ve spawned at 0,0, the top-left edge, at the map edge. Head towards ~ 2000,2000 for the map center.
    (Explanation: This is program caused issue, as during the conversion the spawn point gets reset to 0,0. And while sometimes the area around seems vanilla, that's the pregenerated area i had to create in order to insert/convert the map into.)

      How do you make use of the full height limit? Last time I checked, worldpainter didnt have support for 1.18. did it recently get updated?

      Hello McMeddon! I love your maps and the effort you put into them! But they really, really lack any sort of life and this led me to create a new account just to give my thoughts & ideas on what I think you could do. It'd be cool if you once focused on making one great map that has a story behind it, with multiple cities and stories to explore, as well as bosses such as making use of the Giant mob. Giant survival maps like apterra and Drehmal Primordial really do this well. And since your maps are island based, you could expand/"update" your map by simply adding islands to the world. So instead of creating multiple different works, make ONE GREAT map, which'll attrac a community surrounding it who give you ideas and inspiration and it'll be a masterpiece.

      Now ill just talk about the 2 maps I mentioned so you can get more of an idea of what I mean:

      For example, one of the cities in apterra used quartz, but how did they get the quartz? The roads connected to a quartz cave where it looked like a construction site. This is what you want to do when creating a RPG world, just this little element made it so damn cool. It also had a church with a graveyard, where if you broke in you'd get lost in a dark underground dungeon with witches. All of this lore & content for one measly city in this huge map. There was also a map in the city which showed the direction for another city, once you went through the dangerous mountain cave to get there you see that there's a zombie infection going on where half of the city is blocked off with zombie villagers n spawners. In the middle, there's a giant palace with the end portal. Really cool stuff how they connect the different buildings to give hints on different locations and secrets. And this was in 1.8 so there's so much more you can do since then.

      Primordial took this even further by adding a resource pack which basically just upgraded the vanilla look while still keeping it default. There was also custom musics and legendary weapons, really amazing command block stuff. Also this map has more lore and different religions/cults and stuff around every region. it's too much to explain I suggest you check it out

      You should definetly make something like this because honestly speaking your terraforming & building looks way better than theirs. The potential of you creating something like this is infinite! Focus on one map

      Maybe join the discord, where you can throw in more ideas there into the #ideas-section

      Lore: Indeed something I´ve given multiple times thought about, and definitely more considering in future maps to include more custom aspects for maps. But "Story and structure" wise im really cautious, since one of my key focuses is to encourage people to actually play on these worlds and make their own builds, lore, and co.
      But certainly a huge project worth attempting!

      Customization: indeed something that would be cool, but lack time to do, especially on datapack stuff that i would love to do

      I thought you were good at creating maps before, but you have really out done yourself now. All the way to 6k and with THAT much detail?! wowza. The last time we talked your maps were like free, all world painter had was terracotta and concrete, none of the new nether blocks. I'll always be in the background supporting you. :3
