If I could/knew of a way to disable downloads, I would. It would make even showing privated/collection skins I've made even easier to show.
I've already tried putting a dark overlay on skins before as well to prevent theft since that's happened a few times but it just hurts and feels like I'm ruining something.
EDIT: Furthermore, I have a hobby of hopping into different roleplay servers as well. It's usually an unspoken rule when it comes to characters and how they look but you never want two identical skins. On a server known as School Roleplay, it's a bannable offense since most 'identical' skins are usually stolen off of name-mc. I also have a few good chunks of skins that I post as a 'free to use' or 'free to edit' template, or, have character skins for people to freely use. Gotta keep things clarified and neat a little ^^
P.S. Unfortunately, there's no way to disable downloads.
