◬ Penumbra is a work-in-progress resource pack created by RetroAdvance64. The pack focuses heavily into transforming the world of Minecraft under Retro's vision, looking more grunge, gritty and almost darkened.



Keep in mind that this project for the time being is unfinished, featuring a good chunk of blocks and items resprited and meant to be seen with the current blocks generated in a vanilla world-gen.

It is highly recommended to use Penumbra with Optifine / Entity Texture Features & Entity Model Features to active special features such as Stray's glowing eyes, custom Wither model, etc.

If you meant the Creeper, wanted to vision it like a "plant-like" monster based on Notch's quote


"I imagine creepers as being made out of leaves or similar."


But also twisting it like a full-living creature with some vine-like details around

Yo thanks so much. I don't know how much you get to hear this but this pack is an artistic masterpiece and something I've been waiting for, for a while now. Simultaneously making awesome, unnerving textures whilst somehow staying similar to the vanilla style and swag.

But yeah i was waiting for 1.21 to come out so i could update it to add new mobs to the pack, but also with a twist. Blocks!
