Confirmation system for moving server submissions between members.

Hello there,

I am not sure if such idea was mentioned before, if so feel free to remove it.
I would like to pitch in improvements to the server submissions of peoples accounts. Namely the fact that when someone steals and remakes server submission on their profile, your one is lost.

I feel that some kind of confirmation system in place would help combat this problem, that is seen often. I just feel that its too easy to move server submission from someone, even without having bad intent.

The original intent behind the implementation of the system was to allow users to post servers that have IPs that are/have been reused by the host so that a user who hasn't logged in for 3 years isn't preventing the new legimate owner of that IP from listing their server.

True. But there are many people that install rat plugins with backdoor or people that where given access can still hijack the server.

That's their own responsibility. It's up to them to properly protect their server and only give people access who won't abuse it. It's not really hijacking if the owner of the server gave you access.

There is a confirmation system. You can't upload a server without completing the MOTD verification (meaning that whoever uploads the server must have access to the server files).
