When I was mirroring some art on a skin I was doing, I was previewing my skin and I noticed that the mirrored parts were not working (legs mirroring through and across limbs).
The mirror was on, it was working, I noticed that when I used the mirror, it was doing it, it was just the mirrored part that was one pixel to the right.
Safe to assume that you made sure that the mirroring options are toggled on?
