Hi, I’m Outflow! I’ve noticed that recently when a wall post is posted using the picture feature, instead of showing the picture itself, it shows a link. There’s a tag which says something like “pic[blob]”. Now I’m not exactly sure if it says that, but that’s what it looks like. The tag is followed with a link as well. I’m afraid that it will be flagged because it has a link and I will be banned. Can you all fix this?
When posting an image, are you pasting the link to the image online or are you trying to paste the image directly to PMC?
You can't upload an image from your computer directly into a wall post on this site. You must upload it to a image hosting service such as imgur and then copy the URL to the image file and paste it into the popup that comes up when you click "add image" on your wall post.
I'm posting a link to the image online, but when I do, I use prnt.sc (print screen/lightshot). I can take a screenshot on my computer screen and it auto-uploads to the site where it displays the image. There, I click on the image and click on the button that says "Copy image address" and then paste it into the "add image" thing. Is that what I'm supposed to do or am I supposed to copy the actual URL that's displayed at the top of the screen?
