Hello tributes!
So, you want to win the hunger games do ya? Well you came to the right place. Take a seat, get relaxed and I will tell you all you need to survive this gamemode.
Step 1
As soon as the game is about to start, be ready to run for the middle. I know most people say that if you run away from everyone, you have a higher chance of surviving. That my friend is not true. If you run away and dont try to get any gear from spawn, you most likely will die from the smart person that did.
Step 2
When you are done collecting all the loot you need from spawn, run away with a weapon ready but with no armor for about 50 seconds. I know it sounds a bit risky but let me tell you why you do this. Alright here is the scenario, you get armored up with a decent weapon and you are looking for people to kill right off the bat. Who are you going to go for, the guy with decent armor and food that may help you or the person that seems like they have absolutely nothing and will not help you win. I personally would go for the armored person because most people dont know this trick.
Step 3
Alright, you are all geared up. You have your diamond sword in one hand and full iron armor with a whole quiver full of arrows, ready to be released into your enemy but wait there just a minute, you dont want to get too cocky. You see, just because someone's gear isn't as good as yours is, doesn't exactly mean they can't beat you in hand-to-hand combat. I have come across too many situations where I feel invincible and how I think I am able to kill anybody. If possible, make sure you stay back and watch them fight someone else before you know what you are up against. If they just got out of battle, even if they are really good you should always attack and dont back off unless you know you are going to die.
Step 4
Congrats buddy! You actually made it to the deathmatch if you haven't already killed everyone or died yet. Oh crap, the people there are much more geared up than you and just from the look of it they seem like a challenge. Don't you worry, you can still win. First, you need to use your enviroment if possible, think about what you can use to kill them. Look around for any deadly falls or pits of lava that might help you out. If you happen to be near a deep pit and have a bow and arrow on you, run and jump over the pit with your pursuer following and then fast, turn around and shoot them in mid jump. They will either be pushed back to have to jump again or fall to their doom! The same thing works with pits of lava but is a bit more tricky because the enemy has the ability to escape. And always remember, if there is more than 2 people other than you at deathmatch, never run straight into battle. Let the two fight a bit and then you can either jump in and kill them both or pick off the winner! If the two are a team though.... Lets just hope you REALLY know how to PvP.
