How Minecraft Updates Have Ruined The Game

HELLO!

I remember back in the 1.8 days when everyone was nice to eachother. Everybody could live in a village together without worry of troublebreakers and when there was, the community rose up to take them down. Then there was the release of 1.9, the finished Minecraft. After that update everything good about the game was lost. Enchantments ruined the PvP system, potions made it easier to get kills and the enderdragon gave a sandbox game a campaign. Not only that but the servers changed alot. Ever since 1.9 there has been the release of so many faction servers that is is overloading almost every single server list website in the world. People have gotten stupider, more hackers ect. I know most of our older players miss the old ol days as much as I do, why dont you guys tell me what you miss in the comments. in 1.5.2 i thought the game had gotten to it's finest.it was simple and fun.1.6 game around ang gave horses and stained clay, witch was also awesome, except for it becomming alittle bit confusing. then 1.7.9 came and things got even more confusing and what not,but they put in some better blocks like stained glas and  fixed alot of bugs.and now we come to 1.8.0 and now things are looking bad and really confusing and with this new ability to change the character model and block model thing are starting to look almost like G-mod!I think 1.8 is good but please it's minecraft mojang not sphere craft or some crap like that

dude updates have made the game better tons of pvp and mini games have been made using these new items stop having blind nastolgia and get a grip on reality

Without updates there would be so many sucurity flaws that everyone would be a hacker, plus dont whine about better content, and if you want to play older versions then go ahead nobody is stopping you (and if you want an old version server  then make one)

Enchantments are upgrades for tools, people don't just use them for combat, potions are usefull for more than just combat, and if you aren't forced to fight it, the Enderdragon doesn't make a campaign. And trust me, there has been jerks on this game since the beginning of time.

Yes maybe so but there are many more jerks than there was, on servers in beta 1.7 everyone knew everyone and you would stick to one server, but now the game is just full of 12 year olds that are stupidly immature and sweary.

I wouldnt say that the updates made a worse experience, but just the players. Minecrat used to not be as popular so less people played. With a small community it was easy to find friends. Now that there are millions playing there are many jerks, hackers, griefers, and many other baddies. Also I do agree that vanilla survival servers have died out.

For me, minecraft nostalgia is not just about how the gameplay changed. It is also about the attitude of other people towards you ingame. I miss those times when staffs in server were so kind and approachable. Whether you were just a nobody or just a starter, they would always welcome you warmly and teach you as you go along with them. I remember the server that I have played for a long time back in around beta 1.8, SDX minecraft server, where I gained so many friends the first time I joined. Unfortunately, the server had run down for some purpose and right now, honestly, I really miss my friends there.  I don't know, it's just how they treat me
