Mind Games
Well here I am again.
I ran right out of sidewalk.
The hunt for my head will begin.
The creatures and demons I stalk,
Turn back from the new day.
This is a new kind of nightmare.
My mind needs a new place to stay.
The whole world is playing a game.
I can't quit. I can't stay.
I don't want to play.

Spring to Summer
A soft breeze at dusk.
A half-eaten orange husk.
A crack of a ball and bat.
What is better than that?
Calm clouds cascade, crowd
The sky. Nothing is loud.
The days grow warm.
Shame the bees swarm,
But who can complain
When there is no rain?
