So... Recently I came across the mod 'More Player Models' or MPM for short. This is a mod found here on Planet Minecraft and it enables the player to change many different parts of how they appear in game and even adds the ability to use High Definition Skins (HD).
The mod was created by a person named Seppon, currently level 69 here on PMC. Here is his/her page link. First posted back in 2013, this mod has gone through many different updates and changes over the years. I found a bunch of different videos on Youtube, however, most of those seem to be for earlier versions of the mod.
Trying out the mod for myself, I found a bunch of options, I'll show you guys some of them here.

Pressing F12, it opens up a custom menu which has several options. As seen above.

Pressing the Config button, it opens up to a new window with more detailed options. You can enable various features with the mod including showing the item in your first inventory slot on your back, Chat bubbles and more.

pressing the ESC key on the keyboard returns to the default menu. From here, I hit the Edit button. Messing with the scales option, I made a wide and short version of myself... Its fun to mess with these settings 0_0 As shown above...

On the Edit page, I also tried giving myself a beard, this option adds a whole new element to your character and you can edit it as you please, As you can see above, my Shay skin has a beard ^_^ This page comes with tons of options to change your character including hair, eyes, tails, and various other things. If you have a female character, or if you feel like it anyway, you can add breasts which comes with 3 different options of shape and size.

Here I was messing around and put a skirt on Shay... Well, that is "in character" I guess...

Here, I am trying the option to look like any of the games mobs. In this case, I turned myself into a Vex.

Here is me as a Vex in game, just for the sake of showing it works.

You may have noticed on the scale image that my skin looked different. That was an HD version of shay that I made for this review and for demonstration. To use an HD skin, it must be a skin file that is either 128/64, 128/128, 256/128, 256/256, 512/256, 512/512, 1024/512, or 1024/1024 pixel format. My shay example is a 1024/1024 format and took me about 3 days straight to create by myself... In the above image is where you post a url for the HD skin you wish to use.

In the box, you take a URL for a skin you want to use and paste it into there, once that is done, (if you use the correct format) you click on the player preview on the right, wait for a few seconds and the skin will load in. Don't be concerned if you see a Steve skin at first, it means the skin is either loading, or the format was incorrect. If nothing changes, reflect on the underlined formats I have above, the file must match it. Or you can use my Shay example to compare against what you want to use.

The skin you use must be uploaded to a site like DeviantArt, Imgur, GoogleDrive, ETC. Right click the image and click 'open image in new tab'. The URL on that page will be what you paste into the URL box in game. The images above and below are just demonstrations of the HD skins in game.

In the example image above, I'm showing the option for placing an item on your back, it enables Shay Cormac to have his Air Rifle just like in Assassin's Creed Rogue.

This is an issue I came across with the HD skins. In the above image I am using the SEUS Shaders pack and in the HD skin is unusually dark for some reason. This does not happen with normal skin formats.
Aside from the problem I found with the Shaders and HD skins shown above, I haven't encountered any issues with compatibility in this mod or any bugs. I feel like the HD skins and their use is a bit complex and hard to get used to, but they can be worth it. Seppon has clearly gone through a lot of work with the mod and I wouldn't be surprised if his/her other mods had gone through the same passion this one did. The link below will take you to the main page for the mod itself.

I will rate this mod 4.5 out of 5 Seppons.

Here is a link for my HD Shay Patrick Cormac Skin.
Until next time folks!
