The day after their near-death encounter with the Axecutioner's ghost in the secret torture chamber in the basement, IGEBM and Storm have decided to relax for the day. However, late at night, Si wakes up and decides to go visit the cemetery. Storm, semi-interested in it, also decides to go.
"Why are we going to a creepy graveyard at night?" Storm asks as he follows Si outside the mansion with a flashlight. "Because it's cool and I can't sleep." Si responds. Storm shines his light on his watch. "IT'S ALMOST MIDNIGHT!" he says, before yawning. "Can we just get this over with?" Si doesn't respond and continues walking towards the cemetery. Eventually, they arrive, and he pushes the right gate back. It swings open slowly, and with a creak. "That's not creepy at all." Storm comments.
They walk through the graveyard. It isn't large, around a quarter of the size as the PMC City Cemetery (which is owned by Si). In the center is a stone statue of a man holding a cane in his right hand and a book in his left. There is a green pentagram on the book, and there appears to be an engraved name at the base of the statue, but it's covered by the vines and moss that have grown on it. In all four directions around it are cobblestone pathways that lead through the cemetery. In the upper right quadrant, surrounded by graves, is a wooden cabin where names are etched into the headstones and all the equipment is stored.
Si and Storm look around, with Si taking a particular interest in the statue. "I wonder who this is of." he says. Noticing the name is covered by moss, he kneels down and starts to pick it off. "Hey, Storm, could you get me something to scrape this moss off? There's probably tools in the cabin." "Sure." Storm says with a nod, walking towards the cabin. As he makes his way there, he trips on a small headstone, chipping the stone. The moss on it, the other graves, and the statue begins to glow bright green, as do the vines, and the ground beneath Storm's feet starts to be moved around. He leaps to his fear and looks down nervously. A bony green hand bursts out of the ground, followed by another that ends in an exposed humerus. With its only hand, the creature slowly pulls itself out of the ground, turning out to be a zombie!
Storm runs into the cabin and locks the door behind him as more zombies start coming out of their graves. The vines spring to life and reach for Si, who stumbles back and is grabbed by the legs by them. They lift him up and throw him to the zombies, who begin to crawl towards him. Storm, seeing this, grabs a shovel and unlocks the door, opening it and stabbing any incoming zombies with it. He makes his way towards Si and stabs a zombie in the head. Then, he helps his friend up. Si yanks the shovel out of the zombie's head and shakes off one clinging to his left leg. "Let's get outta here!" he says, running towards the gate as the zombies start to close in on them. The vines block it, however, but Si uses the shovel to cut them down. He opens the gates, allows Storm to leave, and then follows him out, before slamming them shut once again. As they escape, the moss covering the name on the statue mysteriously falls off, revealing it to be a statue of Daemon Beest Shiver, who died in 2020.
The two of them run as fast as they can towards Shiver Mansion, being careful not to slip on the wet grass below them. "It's 3 past 12." Storm says as he runs, looking up from his watch. They soon arrive at the mansion and open the doors, before going inside and locking them behind them. "Okay, you go wake up IGE." Si says. "I'm gonna start barricading these doors in case the zombies get out of the graveyard." Storm, catching his breath, runs upstairs and pushes IGEBM's door open. "Wake up!" he says. IGE gets up. "What is it?" he asks, sleepy. "Zombies may be coming!" Storm answers.
