INTRODUCTION

Hello Minecrafters and welcome back to another blog. Today we'll be discussing the types of servers in depth and will walk you through some of the most hardcore types of servers, and some of the most peaceful servers. As always make sure to leave some feedback down below and enjoy!

*I Also Hope All Of You Are Safe For "Winter Storm Nemo"!!!*

Faction Servers - Hardcore PvP and Raiding

Faction servers are probbably the most hardcore and challanging servers that any Minecrafter will have to go through. In a server like this, your first objective is to just run. Run as far as you can until your far enough from everybody else, and then, start making your base. In these servers, the goal is to raid as many people as you can, but also sustain a safe and stable base.

Throughout your gameplay on the server, you'll need new members to help you. Once you've gained a succesful team of pvpers and raiders, you then go out and try to raid. Although...some servers have abusive admins that use their powers for wrong. They spawn in 1000 diamond blocks for their faction, raid in god mode, or even ban people because they've found out what the admins do. You've gotta watch out for Admins...

On these types of servers, you can't trust anybody. Only invite people you can truly trust into your faction, most people will just betray you and raid you until you've got nothing left. Always check to see if your chests are fully stocked and nobody has stolen anything. Always...be on edge, you never know when you'll be attacked.

Tekkit Servers - The Tekkit Mod

Tekkit is a mod that was created a while back for Minecraft that was a combination of all different variations of mod, put all into 1 single mod. It includes RailCraft,ComputerCraft,IndustrialCraft, and more. Their are so many possibilities for you on Tekkit Servers, you'll never be bored! This mod includes alot of ores also so you'll never be bored when mining. It's a confusing mod when your first starting out, but more fun as you learn the mod.

On Tekkit servers, most people are friendly and helpful, sometimes...they can be evil. Some Tekkit servers allow people to raid and steal your things that you've worked hard for. That can be both fun, and bad for you. Although most servers are like that, some Tekkit servers turn PvP off, and don't allow griefing. You'll probbably favor the ones that don't allow pvp and raiding because then you'll be able to do alot more with less worries.

Once you start to learn the mod and it's crafting recipes then it will be alot more fun and easy. When you first start out on a Tekkit Server I reccomend looking up some Tekkit LP's or tutorials to help you get started so you know what you have to do.

Towny

Towny servers are probbably the best servers if you want to have a peaceful Minecraft experience. Most Towny servers don't allow pvp and are very friendly. You can join a town and buy a house and pay rent. It's almost as if your in real life, but your in Minecraft! If you wanted to you could even start your own town, which is alot more harder then just joining a town and playing inside the town.

If you play on a Towny server it's a great chance for you to meet new people and become friends with them inside your town. I remember how many friends I made when I played on a Towny server, everybody is very nice. The staff are usually very nice on Towny servers and their is no reason to be banned on the servers, unless you've spammed or done something wrong. Their are no worries of being griefed.

Hunger Games - Hardcore PvP

Hunger Games Servers are currently the most popular genre of servers that people play on and can sometimes be very addicting. As you can tell, these types of servers are based off the move "HungerGames," and the book series. It consists hardcore pvp and battling others to be the last Minecrafter standing.

You must roam around the map that's chosen and collect items from chests scattered around the maps. Once you've looted enough of the chests, you start hunting people. The goal is to kill everyone and be the last one standing. Although sometimes you can be very unlucky and get terrible items from the chests. If your stuck in a good or bad position you always want to look for more things to help you.

On these servers you can't trust anybody. Sometimes people team with others when their both in need of help, this is called "an alliance." Teaming can sometimes be extremely helpful if your stuck in a bad position and have terrible loot, or your team member can betray you and kill you. Torwards the end, if your both the last ones standing, you'll have to battle eachother. This means you'll have to put everything aside and kill them, no matter what they did to help you. A team member that's trustworthy and won't betray you is hard to find on these types of servers...

Mini-Game Servers - Relaxing Games

Mini-Games servers are mainly to join in on the fun and relax. Most Mini-Games servers have the popular plugins such as Survival-Games,Paintball,Spleef,Parkour,etc. Most of which are just for fun and don't cause you to rage. These types of servers are semi-popular and most you can get bored of the same old games after a while.

Mini-Games are also a great way to just hang out with your friends and have a ton of fun. Very few servers are Mini-Game ones, but the ones that are, are very fun and popular.

People can make custom Mini-Game servers, such as MineZ,Cookieslap,S&D, and the Project Ares servers. These servers are extremely popular because their customly made and coded so it attracts people's attention to try something new. Project Ares for instance is a Mini-Game server which includes CTW, and Destroy the Core modes. The server is completely custom coded which provides users with endless hours of fun and battling.

Creative Servers - Let Your Creativity Flow

Creative Servers allow you to join in and build whatever you'd like! Most servers use the "Plot Plugin" which allows you to claim a plot and build in it. These servers allow you to express your creativity and express yourself.

Let's take the Mithrintia server and the AyreTV server for instance, they're different than just any normal creative server. They both allow you to build in a plot and if a Moderator thinks your build is worthy, they'll rank you up to [Member] then to [Member1] then to [Member2] and so on. It gives you a goal to build the best that you can to keep ranking up!

Vanilla Servers - The Real Minecraft

Vanilla Servers are Minecraft servers that don't have Bukkit installed or any plugins, they're the true version of Minecraft. These servers are very rare to find, due to the fact that Bukkit is such a popular usage on many Minecraft servers. Also these servers are very challanging because they don't have plugins that help you.

These servers can be challanging at times, if you have a team of friends though it can be very fun and very easy. It also depends on what difficulty the server is set on because Hardcore Mode Vanilla Minecraft is extremely rough to play through and very dangerous! Although, vanilla servers set on Easy Mode are very peaceful and fun, but still more challanging then Peaceful Mode.

CONCLUSION

I hope you've enjoyed this blog and have had fun reading it! I also hoped you left some positive feedback down below, I read every comment you Minecrafters leave! As always I hope you all have a Wonderful Minecraftian Day!

Erm... If I were you, I would've made an Rpg minigame section. It would include the minez, and other hardcore rpg mini games. And it would probably be the hardest type of server. I mean, everyone betrays and zombies are just annoying. But nice blog.

Interesting read, really enjoyed it. I personally like the more peaceful servers that encourage town creation but give enough freedom to pvp
