Sorry, I have had a little bit of schoolwork to do lately, so I have not blogged in a little while. Today, I will be talking about the lost fight of PMC's biggest illness, spam. We hate spam, we love quality submissions. If you are reading this, chances are you are reasonably trying to at least avoid spam, but some people just don't get the point.
In most of my blogs, I get comments like 'MC hasn't died' or 'DinowCookie wasn't banned.' To sum it up, PMC hasn't died literally. I just say it has due to the atrocious amount of miserable spam on PMC... And it's not just blogs. It is every section, where you will always find stolen content, spam (in general) and stupid off-topic posting.
Patrolling the texture packs section first. For the most part, I either see a decent realistic pack in the submission listings or on the pop reel. I see around 2-4 decent simplistic packs floating around. The rest is either a really crap pack, or a single texture edit. First off, single edits are forbidden, and the PMC Police will come and take it down, and smash it to bits all over your head. Second of all, you will have a measly 10 people at max download it.
As skinning has greatly reduced blogging since the formation of the planet, more stolen content arises. Unoriginal skins and dreadful nude people emerge from the gloomy dust of the spam world. The spam has been a massive impact on PMC, because new users will now think it's ok. YogsCast vikings (VIKING, IDC about your stupid dwarf thing), Steve, Zombie (and more default), and even Captain Sparkles have been part picked to have heads laid on half-burnt, ugly tuxedo skins.
Mods are now nothing but gay (none-the-less unhappy) Herobrine, mo' creatures and bug fix mods. Half of these tedious virus infections are created by Linksei's mod maker, and should be reported to the PMC Moderators. Nuff said...
About the others eh. Hmmmm.... Lemme think Aha, the blogs and projects. The projects still stand strong today, said to be the only submissions that are competitive to the pop reel. The good thing is that everything on the pop reel must be super duper awesome. There are enough already awesome submissions on here, therefore the awesomeness of some competition can allow fun building between users. With pretty much any other submissions, ANYTHING with at least a 5/10 rating can be nearly 100% guaranteed a spot on the reel.
The blogs section is the Black Death of all of PMC. The site has been ruined from all of the off-topic crap that people post about getting 10 subbies, recruiting parkour players for YouTube, or even saying 'So when will Cyprezz add smiley faces to PMC's background?' This stuff needs to go, people need to stop uploading this, and we all need to step up for ourselves and manually remove these blogs the easy way. It will save the life of PMC if we have our old, awesome, magnificent clean blogs section back.
I could do a whole blog on laziness (which I already have), but I shall just confront you of what you need to do. Do this and PMC will be a happy place
Get off your butt! PMC is going through a disastrous crisis due to laziness! Just don't spam, and help the moderators out a bit, and we will restore PMC back to it's former glory!

How Laziness Gets Into PMC
I could do a whole blog on laziness (which I already have), but I shall just confront you of what you need to do. Do this and PMC will be a happy place
- Strictly NO posting spam blogs in the first place. Blogs which are recruitments, non-art 1 paragraphies (or bloggettes), contests, horray for X subs, status messages, stuff that belongs in forum, or even chat and 'JOIN MY SERVER' etc. posts MUST stop. You are making this disease worse just by posting this slime.
- Please, whenever you find something that breaches the rules, report it. It doesn't matter about 5 seconds out of your time to just send a report to moderators who can help revive PMC.
- Read the rules!!! If you do, and thoroughly, you will enjoy PMC allot more!

I was very assertive in that, and I am proud that I was. PMC is dying, and it is maybe not your fault (or it is) but those who spam and be total jerks. Even 'kids' can make a difference, by cleaning up PMC and chucking out your trash!

nah in all seriousness though i think the spam is mainly for the "leveling race" some "kids" wanting FAME (I use the word "kids" due to the majority of lower quality posts do seem to be under 18 (and i'm sure there are lots over that to) + i'm a older gamer so anyone under a certain age is a kid lol)
Unfortunately people who simply put 15 minutes to 2 hours into some type of content are rewarded more than people who spend countless hours into something.
