CC's Wandering Trader
So, really didn't plan on my datapacks blowing up like that. Wow. Thanks, every one of you who've downloaded my packs. It's my greatest honor to code up these projects for the community (about six thousand downloads, as of today) that hopefully has made your playing experience just a little bit better. Thanks to everyone who has followed my progression since day 1.
But to those who have played my datapacks in their world for a long time: do you have a full chest of Blizzard Orbs? Or maybe you loved replaying the Dymarip boss fight again and again, just for the challenge and fun of it and not for the loot; and you have too many Dymarip's Flames but you might prefer a bow to a crossbow.
This datapack adds a new wonder in the oceans.
Ocean voyages and intercontinental journeys seem mindless as you just hold sprint-'W'. Besides that, Wandering Traders always spawn on surface land, and it's always the same useless trades.
These Seafaring Wandering Traders are unlike their land-lubbing counterparts who might settle for the uncommon scraps of nature, no, no, no, these Wandering Traders are willing to part with even diamonds for the big guns: the heftiest, unique and rare treasures that only experienced wandering adventures who are well-knowledgeable and diamond-clad can obtain.
At the break of every dawn, a Seafaring Wandering Trader will attempt to spawn in any of the Deep Oceans biomes, if no other Wandering Trader is nearby. They will stay there for almost a day, before despawning.
This special Wandering Trader was created specially to trade the custom items from my datapacks for diamonds and emeralds. I had a last minute thought to add some vanilla items to sort of integrate it and make the trades feel a little more vanilla. But it should always be used in tandem with one of my datapacks.
List of Compatible Datapacks
CC's Useful Snowmen+
It all started with realizing what a missed opportunity snow golems are: they were already hardcoded to fire projectiles on hostile mobs, but no one ever used them. So all it took was a simple loop to make snowballs do damage, and instantly I could see it becoming so much more. From there I gave them more health, made them spawn naturally, have passive effects in certain biomes, reimagined the Igloo structure and added a brand new offhand offhand item.
CC's Desert Pyramid Boss
a datapack that improves the default Desert Pyramid structures by replacing each one with a custom structure that holds two mob spawners, hidden loot chests, custom mobs and a whole new Boss fight in each pyramid. I personally loved designing the experience of the fight. It rewards you with some new custom items too!
Make sure to always download the latest version of all datapacks! To be safe, just download all three together at any one time!
Current list of trades:
Vanilla
Dragon Head -> Diamonds
Dragon Egg -> Diamonds
CC's Useful Snowmen+
Blizzard Orb -> Blizzard Orb
Due to a change in 1.16 attributes, certain Blizzard Orbs are missing their +2 Armor Toughness attributes. This trade is simply a costless way to convert old Blizzard Orbs that are missing the attribute!
Blizzard Orb -> Emeralds
CC's Desert Pyramid Boss
Dymarip's Flame -> Diamonds
Enchanted Totem of Undying-> Diamonds

Have something to say?
Though, I am morally obliged to inform you, that if you're not playing my other datapacks (Useful Snowmen, Desert Pyramid Boss) (but I hope you're playing them!) then my wandering trader datapack really doesn't offer that much. This is because as I add more datapacks, then 80% of my wandering trader's trades will be of custom items, and if you don't have my data packs installed as well, then they won't show up, and you'll only be left with the few vanilla trades that I added as an afterthought (though, I also do hope that these few vanilla trades would be good enough as a standalone too!)
If you're playing almost-vanilla with few game-changing datapacks such as my other packs, and if you want improved vanilla-like wandering traders, here are some very good datapacks made by very good people.

I am pretty sure that the first datapack will definitely conflict with my Wandering Trader pack and cause errors, the latter two shouldn't. If you still want to have mine loaded. But that first datapack is worth mentioning.
Anyways, I do hope that the reason you enjoy this Wandering Trader datapack of mine so much is because you've also got my other packs installed as well haha. I did put in work in it and I'm proud of it, and it does spark joy that you liked it. Do follow my content though, if you like this, then you'll like a lot of the stuff that I've got planned!
Cheers man!
