With brush and dyes, you can give, change, and remove the colour of various coloured blocks: glass, wool, shulker box, terracotta, even planks. You name it!

Features

Colouring decoloured blocks


Hold a brush and dyes in both hands and use the brush on glasses, terracotta, and more. You can colour the following blocks.
  • Candles, candle cakes
  • Glasses, glass panes
  • Shulker boxes
  • Terracotta

Recolouring coloured blocks


Same mechanism as above. You can recolour the following blocks.
  • Banners, wall banners
  • Candles, candle cakes
  • Concretes, concrete powders
  • Glasses, glass panes
  • Shulker boxes
  • Terracotta, glazed terracotta
  • Wools, beds, and carpets

Recolouring wooden blocks


Same mechanism as above. But cannot recolour in lime, green, light blue, blue, and purple. (Mojang plz add these woods) Using purple dye, you can recolour wooden fences into nether brick fences depending on the settings.

I was just thinking about something like this for the brush tool. I can't say I fully agree with the wood and stone painting. Not only are you changing the "color" of the wood but also its type (oak to birch, spruce, etc.), which is a little weird. The bamboo is also pretty distinct, and the crimson and warped wood are the only fire resistant types. The mossy stone blocks are also covered in moss or vines and not a green dye.

It would have been nice if Mojang added the 16 colored wood planks to Minecraft, possibly as some "painted" variants of the oak wood. These would be more similar to the wool or concrete colors.
