Want to allow pvp on your server without causing your world to fall in chaos and flames ? "PVP zone" is a datapack that enables you to create defined areas for pvp. Players can't attack each other unless they are within the boundaries of a pvp area. A player entering the area will be notified of it and their player name will turn red.
How to use : - Use "/function pvp:setcorners" to get the tools you need to define a zone. - Use "/fonctjon pvp:reset_zones" to delete all the previously defined zones. - To get rid of the datapck easily, use "/function #main:uninstall" to delete the scores and teams used by the datapack and disable/delete the datapack before using "/reload". - You can use "/function pvp:info" to get all those informations about the pack while playing.
Compatibilities : This datapack will be compatible with all my future datapacks, unless the concepts are clearly opposed.
Feedbacks, suggestions and critiques are welcome :)
But I found a glitch, for some reason in an area I didn't set a pvp zone, it's saying I entered a pvp zone, and I have a pvp zone already in a different area so it shouldn't be doing that.
That's intresting. I wasn't aware of a bug like this. If you can give me more informations on the conditions in which the glitch happen, it would help me to find out how to fix it. As we're taking quite some place here, I invite you to join my Devzone discord server on which we can talk about my datapack more easily
It shouldn't be too difficult, although it's not in my priority list. I'll keep the idea in my notes so I can eventually work on it as it could be an handy tool for servers.
Thank you, since I have a server (or in other words, a realm) and I want to make mines, but since people will be able to break stuff outside of the mine and possibly even break the structure of them, it will really improve the place.
This data pack doesn't make sense. It should just set the corners and use some type of /fill thing to make it work not say "Negative corners must be lower than positive corners." I put it lower and it won't work.

That's fun to see that old functionalities sometimes get a new life :)
