Fanta Craft is finally out of Beta, though unfortunately not in the way we had first hoped. There have been a few complications as time has gone on, though the most pressing was the change in the command system implemented in 1.17. We spent some time working on several changes to the data pack, but eventually we realized we needed to basically rebuild it from the ground up, so we decided why not do that. To see our blog talking about the future of Fanta Craft, check it out here. As a result, Fanta Craft will not be updated past 1.16.5. That being said, the data pack is now much more stable, and is a great addition to your world if you want to play either by yourself or with friends in a past version.

For those new to Fanta Craft, it is a data pack created by Voyde Studios to enhance vanilla Minecraft and expand it into something with a better sense of progression. With brand new blocks such as the forge and crucible, you can use new metals like steel and bronze to create an assortment of new weapons that personalize your play-style more. We have also updated the plains village in order to allow you to have a more fun sense of exploration when encountering civilization. Recipes are included in the .zip download folder, and we are working on making a wiki to make everything easy for you all to navigate. The Resource pack is in the download "Fanta Craft Resources.zip", and the folder called "Fanta Craft (Requires Optifine)" is the resource pack folder. Drag that into the Minecraft resourcepacks folder and you'll be good to go.

Well, it had to happen some day. For those who have not seen our most recent blog post, Fanta Craft will no longer be receiving updates, in order to make room for Fantasia, which is effectively Fanta Craft 2.0. However, we didn't want to leave off our initial project without making it as complete as can be. In order to do that, we fixed some issues, and removed a lot of content that was either not fully implemented, or were easter eggs for upcoming content, content which has now been moved into the new datapack. That being said, here is the changelog.

- Removed endric root and silver ore generation

- Updated Geode loot table to be more refined and include silver dust

- Updated several chest loot tables

- Removed various unimplemented concepts

- Reduced lag at workstations

- Cleaned various systems

- Fixed minor bugs

Unfortunately no, since the format value is not much for than basic identification. The main update problems came from 1.17 removing the /replaceitem command with the /item command, rendering more than half of the functions in the datapack broken. In addition, we are at the moment working on a much larger scale project that is also taking up a lot of our time. At some point though, we will update Fanta Craft and continue adding new features and content.

On the first looks it looks pretty Good. But It Could Need some armour for my Prefrence.
I Did not download it yet but it looks promising :) and 1.18 is no need for me :) Did u change the ore generaition form Vanilla ores? if yes say at what height the ores spawn. thx :D

This is so cool! Is the huge village shown part of world gen? I hope it is. Also the troll looking things are cool but I feel like if you added more fantasy mobs this could be such a big RPG Datapack, some mobs could be like more dragons or some type of giant serpent or a huge tameable wolf that you have to defeat first before taming.

(Sorry for this being a quite late response) The village seen in both the pictures and the trailer is a vanilla village save for one building we added for filming purposes. We do plan to add more custom creatures, and you may have been close with some of your guesses.

If you open the resource pack folder you should be able to find all of the textures, although it may take a bit of work as the resource pack has many folders in it for organization.

Dude, this data pack has a ton of potential, the resourse pack is just 100 from 10 but the weapons....are a bit like a simple sword or an axe with little benefits, I don't wanna be Misunderstood but i don't have any reason to make a katana or a warhammer or a spear because an enchanted netherite sword is just better than enything, in my opinion you can ad effects for every weapon, any type of animations or even "super powers", for warhammer for exaple if i click on the ground i would like to make a shock wave or something, for the katana to give me speed boost and for an great sword to summon lighting or something, don't take my opinion like hate, I would love this data pack in my world just for the texture and for the weapons, Not to mention the other things, take everything I said as a constructive criticism, overall this datapack has a ton of potential and would be a coveted datapack if it had led to its potential maximum, also, now i wanna say about some bugs i have found
- the morning star have a bug that It is confused with the broadsword and it glitches, the resut is that you will have the resourses stolen and nothing more
- the spiked shield has no texture, it apears like a big Black and purple block
- the pole and the spear apears in the back of your caracter without a texture
Done for today, I hope that I did'nt disheartened you, this is my only personal opinion and i don't hate, I will keep this datapack in my world with all the stuff i have maked and wait for an update, al the goods and have an amazing day!

I forgot to say that it would be awsome if i would have a guide to show me all the recipes, not to look in files after some recipes

Thank you for the constructive criticism. It is definitely true that the weapons are very close in statistics, but that was more the intention we had: somewhat small differences to allow for a more varied and specific type of combat. There may be some weapons in the future that have special abilities, but those are far more end-game level. As for the bugs thank you for reporting them. We're working on fixing several issues with the forge, the shield is a new one, and any item that uses the trident as its base will be broken due to a bug with Minecraft that has yet to be resolved.
As for the guide part; we are working on making a wiki, but that's on the far backburner since websites aren't our area of expertise, so we spend more of our available time working on the gameplay features and other projects.
