JDawgtor's Cutscenes Datapack adds camera entities that you can use to create cutscenes for your Minecraft map.

Current version: v1.0.2

Make any landscape or build look epic by presenting it in cinematic form all in-game and completely vanilla. Customize the movement of your camera and be creative in how your cutscenes look by using a simple, easy to use control book that requires minimal command knowledge. Take your next Minecraft project to the next level and download this datapack to make epic cinematics today.


Datapack Features
  • Camera entities (Fully controllable from an easy to use Written Book)
  • Unlimited Cameras (Multiple cameras able to be spawned in one world)
  • Activate cutscenes with command blocks (Useful for map making)
  • Inability to move while viewing the camera (No jittering when moving your mouse)
  • In-game Widescreen Effect (Requires resource pack linked below)
  • Fade-In/Out transitions (make your cutscenes smooth and less abrupt with transitions)
  • (NEW) Use /summon armor_stand <X Y Z> {Tags:["camera"],Rotation:[<RY>f,<RX>f]} to spawn a camera with command blocks.
Compatible with: Minecraft 1.18 and 1.18.2

Hi an urgent question here! how can i exit a cut scene with a command because i got trapped in a cutscene by exiting the map while i was in the cut scene and i really need your help i did anything i removed than put back tha data pack but it didnt helped i need your help i had a lot of work in that map and i dont wanna lose it

"/function jdc:stop" should cancel everything. If somethings really wrong, then just remove all the tags on you, and run "/kill @e[​tag=jd_cam]"

It should do okay in 1.19.2, but I am also almost done with the official 1.19.2 version.

I was using it on my aternos server and it stopped working after I restarted my server. I tried re attaching it but no use. it puts me in the cutscene but when I try and leave it it dosnt work, any ideas?
