The brand new snapshots for 1.19.4/1.20 (23w04a/23w05a) introduce ARMOR TRIMS. While the designs are cool, I felt like the number of colors was lacking, so I doubled the original amount to 20 TOTAL ARMOR TRIM MATERIALS!
Now works for 1.20.2! With or without Optifine!
HOW TO USE:
- Download both the datapack and the resource pack,
- Open the files where your Minecraft world of choice is located (%appdata%>.minecraft>saves>your_world).
- Put the Datapack under your_world>datapacks. No need to unzip this file!
- Activate the Resource Pack of your choice, either the Glowing or No Glow version. DO REMEMBER TO UNZIP THAT FILE OR ELSE NOTHING WILL APPEAR
Note: if you want to check that the datapack has been correctly installed, please try doing /give @p iron_chestplate{Trim:{material:"lenny:obsidian",pattern:"minecraft:sentry"}}
- If the armor doesn't have a texture when equipped, the resource pack was installed wrong
- If the item description doesn't say "Obsidian Material", the datapack was installed wrong
- Something else happens, contact me
ADDED ARMOR TRIMS MATERIALS:
- Prismarine Crystals
- Glowstone Dust
- Obsidian
- Crying Obsidian
- Netherrack
- Popped Chorus Fruit
- Ender Pearl
- Magma Cream
- Netherite Scrap
- Echo Shard
Use these materials as you would for any other regular material when adding a trim to your armor pieces.
Additional Credit goes to Manuel XXVI, for helping me make the Glowing version of the resource pack.
If you use this in a video, credit me or I'll bite your ankles off
If you use this in a modpack/server, no need to ask, go ahead
