  This pack, once enabled*, will instantly teleport you into the Nether dimension with no way out. Your goal is to make a portal and return, but the "Overskip" also offers a variety of advancements and challenges unrelated to the escape. This pack provides a fun and unique survival experience and makes life in the Nether more sustainable. There are also functions for resetting players and disabling the challenge, so you can always customize your experience.

  ATTENTION! As of v1.7, all Nether weather features have been moved to a new separate data pack.

This pack also includes recipe tweaks (like making Glass and TNT obtainable with Soul Sand, making all Diamond items smeltable into Diamonds and more) and useful loot table changes (like Piglins dropping Paper, compasses in the Ruined Portal chests and more).

* "enabled" here refers to the challenge functionality (being teleported into the Nether); other features of the pack are always enabled.

Additions:
  1. Added the 1.5 changelog;
  2. Ziglin Chicken jockeys now lay an Egg every minute (the timer will only progress if the Chicken is: in the Nether; mounted by the baby Ziglin).

​Changes:
  1. Updated to 1.21.4;
  2. Ziglins can now drop Potatoes and Carrots (same chances as a Zombie; you will now either get a Gold Ingot, a Potato or a Carrot when that pool in the loot table rolls instead of a guaranteed Gold Ingot);
  3. Grouped the "Overskip" Diamond blasting/smelting recipes together with the vanilla ones;
  4. The 'CHANGELOGS' function now shows 2 rows of versions.

Fixes:
  1. The 'Gotta Go Fast' advancement now works properly again;
  2. Fixed the bartering loot table to only allow Soul Speed Enchanted Books;
  3. Fixed the 'Brutality' challenge not counting kills properly;
  4. You're now able to complete the 'Brutality' challenge again if it was revoked (this only works if you've completed the challenge before).

I love the datapack, but I really liked the advancements you did! Is there a way to disable the ability where the portal gets destroyed once you enter to the nether?

If you haven't run the enable function it shouldn't happen!

I love this. Particularly I like the new advancements, but the fact that once activated, the datapack will drop you on the nether instanly is nice

Lol I had to change it because it was kind of annoying. It's better to have it manually activated rather than automatically, don't you think?

You still have to enable it by running /function overskip:enable

this is great. i hate having to always use the /execute command, or make a nether portal. plus, the extra challenges in this data pack are cool as well.
