Welcome to Survival Essentials Pack: Renewables!
This pack adds or changes various aspects of Survival gameplay that I felt were lacking or underutilized. These changes have been made with balanced gameplay in mind while also keeping everything as "vanilla" as feasible.

SEP: Renewables focuses on correcting the existing blocks and items that are finite or unnecessarily difficult to obtain.

    Versions

The main download is for 1.21 -> 1.21.4. See the Github link for versions before this.
The current version is designed for Singleplayer. Multiplayer is untested, but should work.

    Notable Features

Adds various methods for obtaining resources renewably: including new crafting recipes, modified loot tables, and some minor overhauls of mechanics, among others.

Drag the .zip file into "datapacks" menu when creating a new world; or
Add the .zip file to ".minecraft\saves\<Name of Save File>\datapacks" folder. It is safe to add this datapack to an existing world and requires no initializing.

In game run: /function sep_1:uninstall. This just removes scoreboards.

Technically gravel is already renewable from Piglin bartering, but having it drop from Silverfish infested blocks is cool too. :)

A quick suggestion, making that guardians, instead of getting struck by lighting, the entity gets in a certain condition to transform into a elder, like dropping a mending book on a guardian ( it will get wiser and it can repair itself, so living longer) and after that the guardian will wait 10 min to transform into a elder guardian

I like the idea of putting the guardians on a timer until they transform. Dropping an item could definitely be a way, not sure about Mending though. A guardian reading a book to become wiser is funny mental picture indeed. Perhaps throwing some kind of food item instead?

A couple other possibilities come to mind:
    - Guardians that go close to a conduit get converted. Keeps within the theme of the sea.
    - Hitting one with a spectral/tipped arrow. Not sure what effect would be good and I don't have a good justification for this one other than I basically never use these items.

i liked the conduit one, because spectrals arrows are easily farmable trough piglin
