⚠ Important - Read if you were using V.2
As for the transition from V.1 to V.2, this new V.3 upgrade is another fresh rework from scratch, meaning waystones from V.2 won't be compatible with V.3.
If you want to upgrade to V.3, you will first need to remove all waystones of your world, uninstall V.2, then install Waystones V.3 and unfortunately, ask your players to place their waystones back.
I wish I could add a way to port these version, but the way owner were managed until here didn't allow me to do so. V.3 introduces new standards and the flexible and maintainable structure I wanted it to have. Now every entities links are stored in a database (storage), and there is a way to track all waystones to update in live. So there would be no problem for the future.
What is Waystones?
Waystones is a data pack inspired by BlayTheNinth's famous Waystones mod.
Waystones allow you to travel quickly from one point to another in your world, and within any dimension (including custom ones).
You will also take with you your vehicle (horse, boat...) and the mobs you currently have on leash. So wasytones also allow you to transport mobs within several locations more fastly.
Unlike the mod, waystones do not appear naturally within the world, they require to be crafted.
Many settings are available to manage this content at your ease!

Changes:
- ⚠️ Updated all features to match the new 1.20.5 syntaxes and references. Do not install it on 1.20.4 or less, as it would break the data pack's functioning.
- Thanks to new features of 1.20.5, waystones are now visible in the recipes book, and the output is no longer a knowledge book, but directly the expected item.
- Waystones items names and lore now refer to their variant. Stored one will automatically update when you get them in their inventory.
- Regular variant has been renamed to Andesite
- Mossy Stone variant has been renamed to Mossy
Bug fix:
- Players name might fail to be stored correctly in the database, resulting into the Owner line in the tooltip of a waystone in GUI showing another player (display issue). This version should introduce a safer process to retrieve the player's name.

If you encounter any issue with the data pack (especially if it concerns a beta version) preferably join the Discord server, and open a post in the dedicated #data-pack-issues channel to describe your problem. It can be due to many reasons. Using V.3 on an incompatible version of MC (1.20.1 or less), having another data pack installed with a bad reference in its function tags, etc. To investigate further, preferably join the Discord server, and open a post in the dedicated #data-pack-issues channel to describe your problem.
