    DATAPACK JAM 5 IS OVER!
    We had a blast judging and playing with all the amazing packs that were submitted. It was hard picking between them, but the winners definitely deserved it. Enjoy your trophies!

    I gotta give a massive thanks to Cyprezz for inviting us to the Jams closed beta. It’s truly a great addition to PMC!

    Congratulations to everybody who participated in the Datapack Jam! It was tons of fun to judge everyone's amazing datapacks! Before I announce the winners of this jam, I would like to say that even though this is a competition, it is a friendly one. Please do not be upset if your datapack is not up here, each and every one brought something amazing to the table.

    Now, time to reveal our Winners.

    1st Place: Shadow Travel by 2mal3!
      
      Shadow Travel is a datapack which allows the player to create portals to an alternate dimension, through the use of complete darkness. When in this dimension, you are able to access other portals that have been created in the overwold, and furthermore, every block in the Shadow Dimension is 16 blocks in the overworld, making getting back home from adventures much easier.

    2nd Place: DuskWorld by PiggyPig!

      DuskWorld is a datapack which showcases a new dimension, the DuskWorld. It gives a new complex progression inside the new dimension, all leading up to a bossfight. From harvesting souls, to looting structures, this pack is sure to excite.

    3rd Place: Wraith by Hexuar!

      Wraith adds a new mob and structure to the game. Be careful standing in darkness for too long, for you may attract the attention of a wraith! The wraith is a new mob that spawns behind you in darkness. It has the ability to fly, and will hunt you down in caves. This pack also adds graveyards, which can be found as a custom structure throughout the world. Looting the graveyard will give you a new custom sword.

      Amazing work to everybody who played! This jam was our most successful yet, and I can't wait to host more!

    I had a good start on Sunday, but Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I didn't have a lot of time to update the pack so I'll probably have to cut a few things until after the jam.

    As someone who hasn't made one before, I'm in the process of sorting out my idea into something hopefully more realistic and figuring out how I could make it. ^-^
