We rolled out some server upgrades today, all about speed, better experience and handling even more creative traffic. Looking better on our end, but does the site feel faster to you? Faster, same, weird... let me know. Just getting started.

Expanded view is available on all Player and Mob Skins allowing you to soak in every glorious pixel.

Skin artists can now choose whether to disable downloads on per skin basis. Why? Because some artists want to share their personal skins, some want to share commissions, and some just want credit and more control over how their work gets used elsewhere.

When you upload or edit a skin (or mob skin), you'll find a new "Allow public downloads" toggle. Turn it off and:

• The download button disappears from the page
• The direct download link is blocked, even if someone has it bookmarked
• Your skin still shows up fully in listings, your profile, and search. It's just view-only

This is opt-in and only affects new uploads or skins you edit. Nothing changes for your existing downloadable content unless you flip the switch yourself.

Artists please note that this feature discourages casual downloads but cannot guarentee complete protection of your work. Hoping to see some high quality inspirational skins that would otherwise never see the light of PMC!

Added the ability to download the skin animations in .gif or .mp4 format so you can actually share it properly on X / Reddit and beyond!

You can now use the collective 330k+ opened CFT characters directly in posts, content, threads, widgets and replies using the new CFT button in the editor toolbar.

Any CFT you've liked will appear in the dialog for easy access. We're not locking them to ownership, creativity needs freedom. Be free.

Good evening PMC,

XP from group contributions will now be credited to both the group and the original author. If you've contributed to groups, you may have noticed the boost.

In addition, on the full content gallery view on member profiles, you'll find "Group Contributions" as well as "Collaborations" tabs IF the member has them. Prime example.

PS. There are notification settings for reactions if you don't like getting pinged for reactions on wall posts, content replies or forum replies. In addition, you can choose whether or not to allow reactions on wall posts at the time of posting.
