I think I need to tear a lot of Haven down and rebuild it from the ground up. I don't want to redo everything I've done so far but I've been stalling on updating this pack since like 1.18 and I just can't find the drive to do it. I load it into my game from time to time to try and get some of my inspiration back but a lot of times I wander around and just don't really like what I see anymore, and I think a lot of that just has to do with my style and texturing ability changing as the years went on.
Despite this, I don't want to let go of it just yet, but something definitely needs to change. I'm missing that creative momentum I had from the last overhaul I did and I want to feel excited about working on it again. Might need to step back and draft up some new concept art before I dive into it again...
I've been following this pack just because of the amazing GUI. I like the style overall, but you do what makes you happy with your art. I'll be eagerly waiting for an update whenever it arrives.
Really? I'm never out of ideas. If the muse isn't with Minecraft right now, find other ways to express yourself artistically. Might be time for get into graffiti, or painting (I literally do this). "When you put the pen down" is in your head. You have it or you don't. Just gotta be open to the muse and go where she goes. Never force it
This is an issue that happen to many people. Once you place down that pen, you place it down forever, creativity is hard to grab back, the burn out, there are ways to take it back and start fresh so you can let your mind goes free again. Maybe, a revision of your works?
i don't know what i expected from a gaming community, but I'm more than a little disappointed by how minecraft live viewers kept fighting the mob vote with no use. People set themselves up for disappointment, and continued spamming #stopthemobvote EVEN AFTER the armadillo was chosen..
I would understand more reasonable ideas, like being more detailed on the mob descriptions, or have the losing mobs be added later (they implied they'll do it today, but people completely ignored it). Hoping for the radical solution of just getting rid of the whole vote is illogical; it's one of the only things that exist to hype up each minecraft live and it just won't happen.
I will never stand for any hate toward these game developers. When you're making criticism, consider the fact that you may be ignoring their genuine efforts to make a good experience.
And a reminder that it's just a game. If the penguin were to be the winner or the armadillo lost first, it's not going to kill your family. A video game should not be something in anyone's life that is political and stressful, it should be a relief.
If you ever need to take a step from this chaos, take a walk outside with your friend or your crush. It's a beautiful world out there, and it's more worth fighting for :)
