    I just wanna say I kinda love my life right now, I'm doing so much better than I used to be. By 2024 I was kind of lost and didn't know where I was going with life, I'd kind of resigned myself to the fact that the only real thing I did besides work and message friends on Discord was post stuff on here and make mods, I had plans for my life and they fell through so I just focused on what I knew how to do which was posting minecraft mods. It was alright, but it was kinda lonely.

    Then in early 2025 I decided I'd had enough of being always either at home or at work, I wanted to get back into socialising, so I asked an old friend to introduce me to his friends and everything spiralled from there - after the first night out at the bar I was hooked, I started going out meeting people every week, sometimes multiple times a week, at first just talking to people in my group but then I kept meeting other people who liked my vibe or my outfits and wanted to talk, and gradually my initial shyness faded.

    Ever since then I've gained more and more close friends, experienced so much more of life, learned how to dress nice, met famous people, gone to parties and events I'd have been scared of a few years ago - all sorts. The way people see me has changed a lot too and I'm still not used to it, I get called hot by women I'd have obsessed over a few years ago, I get complimented on my outfits or hair nearly every night out, and I've got no plans to slow down my progress either. I mean if this is how things are after a mere 16 months of regularly socialising irl then what will I be up to in another year? Another 2 years?

    This is also why I've been slowly getting less active with site moderation, mod creation, skins, all of it - it's nice but irl stuff takes priority. (Luv you all tho :3)

    2025 Achievements/things I did:

    Started actually going outside to socialise again
    Became way more confident
    Got WAY more irl friends (love them allll)
    Kissed by various pretty people
    Reached 3.3m downloads on curseforge
    Posted a lot of minecraft mod updates
    Got much better outfits
    Got prettier
    Went to lots of fun parties
    First time clubbing
    First time axe throwing
    First pride event
    First cosplay
    First anime convention
    Visited a lot of different cities
    Didn't unblock anyone I shouldn't unblock
    Kept my job
    Whole bunch of stuff I ain't sharing here or can't remember rn
    Overall had my best year yet!

    2026 Plans:

    Go to at least 3 anime conventions and 4 pride events
    Don't unblock anyone I shouldn't unblock
    Reach another million downloads on curseforge
    Update at least one of my main mods to 1.21.1 or above (not all of them, please don't make me)
    Get better outfits
    Get curvier
    Find chaos frog again (very strange woman I met at a pride event)
    Keep my job
    No more than 4 mental breakdowns (I'm not counting anything below 15 mins)
    Stop forgetting my moisturiser
    Meet more of my online friends
    Spend less money than in 2025 (or make more)
    Whole bunch of stuff I ain't sharing here
    Have an even cooler year than 2025

    Got another little mod update done for Realms of Redemption - I've not been modding a lot lately, been busy with work, nights out, sleepovers with my friends, halloween/bonfire night parties and generally just irl stuff. I'm just not on the internet all that much in general these days, besides irl friend group discord servers, irl socialising is just way more fun than online :3

    If you're finding a lot of embedded images are saying "not available in your region" or finding people saying they can't see images in your posts, be aware that Imgur has stopped letting people with UK ip adresses view images hosted with them, due to the new (insane) laws the UK has requiring a lot of websites to verify ID before letting people use them, which has lead to some sites just stopping serving the UK altogether.

    You can use a VPN to view the images but I'd definitely recommend switching to a different image host for posting any more.

    I use PostImages for quick uploads I don't care about, but since I've been aware of this I've been trying to use more of my CDN that is hosted via tixte.com

    Just wanna say if you're seeing the age verification thing Discord has been trying to roll out in the UK (possibly other places too) I would NOT recommend verifying your age with it, I've heard from multiple people who got banned because the AI they use to calculate age thought they were under 13 - both were actually over 18, sure you can appeal it but personally I wouldn't take the risk, especially given the poor reputation Discord support has.

    nobody should be using AI to verify their faves, if you want to do age verification use a government id, do not use AI, don't use a credit card, don't get an sms, use your government id, storage of the id as a lot more protection on it, data brokers cannot sell and trade it
