I've come to find a joy in building again, because it breaks up my usual daily life, so I'll be back to building from the 6th of October, though instead of weekly, I will be making it bi-weekly as that fits better with my irl life :P

I want to give an update regarding my recent wallposts (including the deleted ones)

I wanted to share a little update about where I’m at with my art and what you can expect from me in the near future. Over the past few months, I've been reflecting on my goals and how I want to approach my growth as an artist, and I’ve decided to focus exclusively on the Sketchbook Journey series for now.

What this means is that I won’t be creating any tutorials, websites or expand beyond PlanetMinecraft for a long while. I believe the way forwards for me is to focus on learning and improving my art and drawing skills, without the pressure of producing finished pieces.

I’m excited to continue this journey and share the ups and downs, and the insights I pick up along the way. Your feedback and support are instrumental in my development, and I hope you’ll continue to join me in this adventure.

Fighting through allergies, finished the doodle from yesterday



Gave up on using the G-pen and switched back to the mechanical pencil brush. Can't really tell the difference unless you zoom in like SUPER close hehe

Also learning the hard way that the G-pen is extremely unforgiving compared to the mechanical pencil brush (I spent 30 minutes doing the lineart for the face)

Would it be more interesting if I made art tutorials to compliment my sketchbook journey series? I plan on making a video and blog that will release this December (aiming for the 9th of December, because that is when I started drawing last year).

But I kinda realized, that maybe instead of throwing random stuff at the wall with YouTube videos, I should start throwing random art stuff at the wall instead :'D And tutorials just so happens to be something I already have some experience with making

(though there already is a million different art tutorials out there hehe)

I'm experimenting with video creation and aim to upload one video per month. Goal is to shift over to art-related content once I gain more experience in art, so over the next year, I'll just be throwing stuff at the wall to see what resonates.

Hi PMC!

I see most of you are already aware or suspect this, but I just wanted to confirm that yes, we were and are currently experiencing a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack. A DDoS attack is when someone tries to overwhelm a website with so much fake traffic, coming from all around the globe, that it becomes too slow or even stops working for everyone else. It started on August 27th around 1 pm and essentially made our website unreachable for 33 hours until various changes were implemented to get us out of the dark.

We understand how frustrating this has been, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Our team has been working through the nights to implement various methods across multiple services to mitigate the attack and strengthen our defenses against any future incidents. In the long run, this will make us stronger and more resilient going forward on a normal day to day basis.

Please know that we are closely monitoring the situation and continuously tuning our systems to ideally prevent further disruptions. We appreciate your patience.

Something rather peculiar seems to have happened after PMC kind of choked out for 2 days. It may pass over in due time, but maybe I'm not the only one who is experiencing it:

The daily view-count on some of my most popular uploads have declined by over half. While I'm glad that my old tutorials are dying out, allowing content I'm actually proud of to get more attention, it is sort of strange how some of my content that would get around 50+ views daily, now gets 13.

It may pass over in due time, just found it interesting and would love to try and figure out why it all of a sudden dropped so suddenly

Doing hands digitally is a lifesaver because I can resize and move each individual finger around until it becomes an actual hand :'D

Slowly getting used to drawing digitally. Tbh, I see why many artists favor digital over traditional with the ability to draw and move on seperate layers. It makes me look a lot more skilled than I actually am :'D
