Personalized Site Feed

Skin artists can now choose whether to disable downloads on per skin basis. Why? Because some artists want to share their personal skins, some want to share commissions, and some just want credit and more control over how their work gets used elsewhere.

When you upload or edit a skin (or mob skin), you'll find a new "Allow public downloads" toggle. Turn it off and:

• The download button disappears from the page
• The direct download link is blocked, even if someone has it bookmarked
• Your skin still shows up fully in listings, your profile, and search. It's just view-only

This is opt-in and only affects new uploads or skins you edit. Nothing changes for your existing downloadable content unless you flip the switch yourself.

Artists please note that this feature discourages casual downloads but cannot guarentee complete protection of your work. Hoping to see some high quality inspirational skins that would otherwise never see the light of PMC!

What will you be making?
You will choose either the Yellow Bee or the Purple Butterfly and create a team mascot for the respective team!

There will be two winners for this competition, one for Team Bee and one for Team Butterfly. Both skins will be featured on the official roster once it is released on June 1st!

• You may only join if you plan on being a SkinFight participant.
• Entries are due May 25th
• No plagiarizing other entries
• At most 1 entry is allowed

Hey guys! It’s almost Skinfight season again, and I’ve got some news to share with everyone.

As you probably know, we haven’t been on top of our scoring game and to be transparent, while the event is super fun, it does take a toll on the staff team. Additionally, we’ve lost a key member of the team recently and things behind the scenes are kinda unsure.

This takes me to my first question. Do you want Skinfight to continue? I’d love to see the general consensus about the event overall.

Additionally, if we want Skinfight to continue, I have been considering moving to a custom built website for the event. The problem? It’s going to cost a LOT of money, but it would streamline everything (ie like artfight). This is a monumental task and would be done next year, but I would be asking for donations. Would anyone be interested in a Kickstarter/donating/gofundme? Donating would ensure extra perks.

Overall, I want to involve the community in the Skinfight discussion, as you are the heart and soul of this event.

The rating panel will be found on the submission's page — just pick an entry from the gallery to get started!

When judging a skin, please make sure to keep in mind the following criteria: Design / Creativity, Connection to Original Art, and Effort
Don't just vote for an entry because your friend made it! And make sure to rate all 25 skins.
