Hello there everyone, it's... for me at least 00:43 as of beggining to write this. So... as the night finally deepens... Uh... I didn't think this through... UH.... quick gotta think of something... I know! TEA! Do you guys like tea? I like tea, more so than coffee since sadly coffee for me is only that slight acidic hint with a tiny bit of sugar added in... yeah it's only the flavour... I can drink coffee and immediatly afterward fall asleep like a rock... same thing with energy drinks... though they do taste better... unless they're the zero sugar ones.... RIGHT TEA! Nearly forgot! So... as long time allies of the british and masters of the maritime trade of spices, teas, and... other sorts of merchandise, of course I grew up to love tea! Right now... I had to pick between Hibiscus Roseta (my favourite), green tea, black tea, tea tea (because the brand calls it chai tea, but I've heard chai means tea so... tea-tea), lemon and a weird white flower, and mint tea... no wait... there was also whatever the hell curcuma, apple, and cinnamon is... but yeah... I went for Chai this time! XD

Where am I going with this? Not even I am aware... I'm merely letting the flow of thoughts channel themselves directly through the keyboard over onto this post like a writer possessed by the spirit of invasive thoughts and lyrical prose... though... this isn't a poem now is it? ANYHOW! FEY TRAPS! GOTTA STOP STANDING ON THEM GLOWING MUSHROOMS! BACK ON TRACK! Yeah.... I will now be drinking tea... while marvelling at my work, done and to be done... while I think to myself "Science was fun... but... why didn't I ever try art?"... Why are you staring at me like that? My eyes are down here you know? I'm not a giant like most of you! XD
Also yeah... never took a single art lesson past... the mandatory visual education class from 5th to 9th grade... though back then all I could draw was a stick of butter in 3d perspectives... and mushrooms... XD

Well since we're already approaching October... and Splotch of Paint's update is at 17/20 paintings... does anyone have anything they'd like? I say this because I always love your suggestions, and honestly... I'm out of ideas... I somehow reverted back to water with painting number 17... at least that one's "thalasso megalo possibly nycto phobic" inspired! XD

It however will remain a surprise for the update. But since I'm not fully evil, I'll tell you it's named "Always a Bigger Fish"

But yeah... that's sort of it, feel free to leave suggestions, don't worry if we go past the 20 painting cap, neither, that's just my minimum aim for bigger updates. XD

Well today was... arguably messy... Though I can't really recall much... Anyhow! That.... isn't why we're here today! Because out of the blue my brain was like "Hey! Look at what I found!" *Flashbang in the form of a mental image of the white enderman legend from old minecraft* "AH FUCK MY MENTAL EYES!" and... uh... I lost the track give me a second...

AH RIGHT! So yeah I suddenly remembered that old thing... and... I remembered the recent cryptid stories I've been watching for fun... and Scp-106... if I'm not mistaken Shy guy is 106.... but that doesn't matter and I'm getting off the paved road of thoughts again because the edges are like little alluring fey traps of distraction and... I'm outside the path aren't I?
ANYWAY! ALL THIS! Just to say!

I made a white enderman painting... called it Gaunt and Forgotten! Will be on the next batch of twenty... and it's number 16/20 so yeah... fun stuff. Bellow there's the usual framed and unframed showcase versions, tell me what you think, if not that's okay, and yeah... enjoy!




AND WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY! I seriously hope you're all having a good day, really. Stuff can be hard, but it's best to look at it in the eyes, flip it two middle fingers, bonus if you manage to do 2 extra with your feet, and, try your best to have fun and enjoy the good moments.

Okay I have to speak my mind about this... I've seen like... 3 or 5 posts mention a "western" hemisphere... wtf is a "western" hemisphere? Did Earth get a new update? Did we suddenly get a new magnetic poles for west and east? Like... how do you even divide the planet that way? West and East aren't even objective they're relative... like for me as a portuguese guy, Japan is in the far east, and america is west, and america is west... but for americans... I'm East of them... and to them Japan is closer to the west... I think you guys still call it eastern though because of the universal maps being quite europe centrive... but still, you can't easily divide it sideways... if I wanted I could grab a boat, and head only west and still end up east of my current location.

I'm sorry if I sound confused, etc... I just really don't get the same hotfixes you guys get to your lingo and suddenly I'm playing catch-up. XD

Anyhow that's literally all... I don't know what lateral hemispheres are, and I will now take my leave back into the darkness... despite it being quite sunny with a warm 35ºC outside... Kinda wish it was at 40ºC though... that's the good stuff. XD

regarding some recently-deleted posts, please be mindful that the staff team is all for showing love and support for others. we want you guys to be there for one another, and recognize the value in having a community you can fall back on for reassurance through highs, but especially through lows.

but, we also need to be mindful of how we communicate our support for others. it's easy to fall into some bad habits that can, maybe counterintuitively, hurt more than they help. that's not to say that the term "suicide" is forbidden. i know it's a touchy subject, and the word itself kind of sticks to the roof of your mouth, but september is suicide prevention awareness month and it's good to be up front, and to use the proper term for this particular type of crisis scenario.

the problem (if you can call it that, but i don't think of it as a "problem" so much as a "misunderstanding") isn't that you guys are trying to help, or that your vocabulary is crass or offensive. please know that. i love that you guys help each other through rough patches.

our team is just worried for the possibility that users may feel pressure to act as crisis councilors, as opposed to as friends or those who would like to show support. this kind of pressure can have a negative effect on other peoples' mental health, especially in those individuals who do not have professional training in crisis counseling.

Ok so... turns out I'm quite chatty today... And this is your daily... or well sporadic. Progress Report! *Dazzle Dazzle*

Okay so... I've got... 124 textures... some are a bit reduntant as they're like... smaller edits? But I felt like they were worth keeping as seperate versions. Like Piglin Steel, which looks gothic and old, and it's Reforged variant, after a friend of mine gave me some feedback on the original look. I could have replaced the old one too but... like... I like it too...
Anyhow! Beyond that there's an entire set I called Zinc... It's so far one of my FAVOURITES! The spear looks so good! That I don't even know if I just want it to be named Zinc... I pondered on Electrum... but... maybe something like Engineer's Set would work better? If anything I can just change the names further into development.
But yeah... 124 textures and counting... where should I draw the line? I have no clue! XD

It's been fun getting back into Titles&Tools however... and I might try to do a render or two for the update presentation, that however... is something future Zord has to deal with (he's going to hate me for it but he's in the future and he can't hurt me! XD)

ANYHOW! FOR THE 3RD AND POSSIBLY NOT THE LAST TIME TODAY! TA-TA EVERYONE! o/

Totally unrelated to the post from 9 minutes ago but... I miss old movies man... I remember watching some on TV with the family. Stuff like Dr.Dolittle with Eddie Murphy... Or the time I watched Croods... Or the first Despicable Me! Or the original MIB movies... man... why does comedy as a whole seem so generic lately? XD

Sometimes... one looks at himself, and can't help but think. I am such an exotic piece of marble craftsmanship constructed by the finest sculptor in all of ancient greece and rome... and then... one realizes, one's own folly as he remembers it's not all about the ego of the body, but also the aspect of one's mind...

And yeah... all this to say I'm starting to think my mind is composed of like an entire array of little versions of me... Not like the movie Inside Out though... more like... the movie Meet Dave... yeah you know the movie! Well turns out... I really like Light Blue and Gold for items... that combination has that... desert fantasy look, or at least that's the thing that crosses my mind... but yeah... After doing the first item for the Rose Knight set (it was the sword, sword's always the first of each set) I went... played with colours for fun... and made a completely divine... well... not divine but... GORGEOUS looking recolour! I named it the Kingslayer. For amidst dunes and oases kings are temporary... Did... did I just do lore by accident? XD

Anyhow now I have to do 2 sets of tools because of the recolour... so... see ya later! Ta-Ta! o/

P.s.: The later might take a while because I... ate something that hasn't agreed with me... for the past 3 days... fun... :)

P.p.s.: I just realized you guys have no idea what Rose Knight is either... uh... think... Rose Gold... and cerimonial vibes... like... that heroic knight figure that's like a paladin of sorts even... Which does mean that the sword... is actually a claymore. Simple 2 material sword though, 1 dark purple handle, 1 rose gold tinted pink metal for the rest. And yeah... still figuring out what I should make the pickaxe here... and the shovel... and hoe... the axe will look chunkier than the normal one. Since I already did the classic chunky 16x16 limited sword with 1 pixel extra of width of each of the two edges of the blade. :D

I need to find myself a rival... I'm annoyed by how slow progress has been and for whatever reason my biggest motivator in the world is spite. XD

But yeah... 89 textures done... still counting...

Do you ever just... listen to a song... and for no particular reason whatsoever let's say it was Tiësto - Lay Low. Only to suddenly have the urge to get into a sports car in the middle of the night with street wear and coloured aviators, and just... drive like a maniac from a need for speed movie? No? Just me? XD

I know I just posted 15 minutes ago... but my brain suddenly had an idea crash onto it at MACH FUCK! And now... I'm formally announcing... I'm doing a dark chroma version of Shroomsteel called Glow Shroomsteel... Kinda wish I could just hue shift everything but no... it's a manual replacement job...
