What do y’all think of chapter two so far? (NOT FINISHED!)

Spellmaker awoke the next day to the sound of a bell ringing.

Why in the shining moons is there a bell- OH.

he realized that it was time for classes, and he struggled to find a map or anything that would help him!

I cant be late! They’ll have my neck for sure!

“I could enchant a piece of paper to tell me how to get to class….” Spellmaker mused to himself.

”Or you can actually learn the geography of this stupid academy.” Spellmaker jumped, as a SkyWing came into view, eyes glittering dangerously as she came into view.

He had only seen the Ex-Queen of the SkyWings once, from a distance and in paintings, and this was definitely her.

Then he noticed that she didn't look a day over seven.

He connected the dots, and realized that she was actually Peak. “Three moons, maybe consider approaching a little differently?”

Peak laughed, and glanced down the hall. “Here, follow me!” Peak chuckled and started walking down the hallway.

“I’ve got a question… Why did you say That you could enchant a piece of paper to get to class…?” She looked at him and tilted her head, and he gazed at her, looking at her eyes, but not responding. “Hey! I’m talk’n to you, Spellmaker!” She waved her claw in front of him, and he snapped out of whatever trance he was in…

”Ack! Sorry!” He said as he looked around and saw his clawmate, Iceberg. “Hey! Iceberg, Ya lost too?” He said, desperately trying to avoid answering her question…

”Nawh, just lookin’ for someone…” Iceberg replied, obviously lying. “I doubt it, but alright!” Spellmaker continued walking with Peak thinking Damn, I’m lucky she didn’t ask again…

That strange feeling, when I have a sudden interest for a hobby, that is not my style, and would never actually want to do it, but find it alluring for some sudden reason. If that makes sense?
Case in point: Cycling. Particular motorcycling. I am by no means the type for it, and would never want to do that due to all the increased danger (I am always a "Keep it on the safe side" type person XD). But for some reason the idea of having a Sunday "Cruiser" for casual short drives on the weekend seems drawing. Despite me never actually want to lol
Could you see someone like me riding a Harley??? Hahah Put that image in your mind XD

Your not getting a Hog, Your too cheap to spend the money. A new Harley could cost you as much as a new vehicle with 4 wheels. You won't spend that for just a weekend ride. Most 2 wheeled riders I KNOW have the mindset "its not if you lay the bike over (have a wreck), ITS WHEN". To get your mind off of that, Get a used Can-Am Spyder 3 wheel, Trike. They are fun to ride. Used bike won't break the bank. And they come with automatic gear shifting.

We went to the gun range with my dad for Father's Day today.
(Well, technically it was just a friend's property that has some targets set up, but whatever.)

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!
I've never used a gun before, so this was a first time experience for me.

I used a 22 pistol and a 9 MM handgun. (I think that's what they were, but I could be wrong)
Our friends did have a shotgun, but I didn't try it. The recoil looked kinda painful.

Best day I've had in quite a while.

I think a pistol is a specific type of handgun.
In my case, yes, I just don't like to use the same noun twice in one sentence. It sounds weird to me.

When stardew valley motivates me to work on my IRL garden

My potato plants
Potato plant flower this year

Some sweet corn that had some difficulty sprouting this year. Seems like every other year is a bad year for corn. Weeds, weeds, always weeds

I never do that lol. I do it to help keep diseases away from the crops. I also manage my garden as a "No Till garden"

Also, do you plant everything in the same places every year?
If so, don't.
If you plant something else like, peppers it helps keep the soil rich.

So I folded, and got Stardew Valley. Going to have to take the time to learn it, seeing that I only really seem to know how to chop things down, and remove rocks lol
