Well, that's day 20 of 40 days of sketching. Quite odd, on one hand it's not a lot of days but in another way while looking through them. A lot has happend. in terms of progress.

Either way, I am looking forward for the next 20 days to sketch on location. Quite different compared to sketching from google streetview. The only downside? possible bad weather & roughly 20~24 hours of traveling needed from closing the front door behind me, all the way to my first place to stay. But that's something for tomorrow morning.

I am not sure if observing is the right word. I think it's more of figuring out how to sketch the details. Details such as the roofing and the (bloody annoying but satisfying when you finally get some to work after few days) greenery. At the same time, yes I have been observing more details. Observing to figure out how to draw these things...

By the way, I decided to already prepare a draft of the first half of my blog detailing the proces. I hope you don't mind me taking lots of inspiration in the way you made your blogs.

This makes me super excited to read more about what you've learned, and I love the difference levels of detail from day 7 to 17. I may not be correct, but it looks from these two drawings that you've started observering more, like with all the smaller aspects of the buildings :)

So... day one in the pocket of my own sketch journey.

Being inspired by Stubbs1 Sketch journey's one and two. I decided to do my own version of it. Not 60 but 40 days of sketching. The first 20 to get the very basic's down or rather, re-evaluate what I always used as base without really questioning it.

The last 20 days, doing actual urban sketching while traveling abroad / being on vacation. With the main goal to be in better shape in my vacation than the previous years.

p.s. also making this post to give an additional kick under my own butt, to do it actually for 40 days.

Quite well, today is day 130 for me, have mainly been studying the hips and legs, trying to put together a full body :D

Thank you to everyone who has shown interest in my commissions lately! I don't think any of you are here, though. LOL! I've been a bit overwhelmed, but it's so nice getting some work!! I have soo much to update on social media, but I'll get to that one day.

It's been a while since my last build. Apparently a year minus 2 days... Which means I am also now roughly 11,5 years on PMC

Either way, to keep things interesting & trying something new for presentation; I tried making a video. It's rough (including grammar, it's google translated not my strongest point) but interesting to give it a shot.

So for my latest build. A redstone powered Shinkansen below my first video attempt.

Semi-final results are in!
wqtermxlon and _FroznBee are both progressing to the next round and will be facing each other for the final 1v1 of the season.

Bracket

Apologies for the delay in the season, a few of our contestants either got sick or very busy and we had to grant some extensions to the deadline. We are now back on track and moving the season forward.

A big thanks and congratulations to all the other participants of the season. You all did well for making it as far as you did in the bracket. SSPBL is not an easy competition, so your very participation is note worthy.

Redemption Jam
Our S8 Redemption Jam is still ongoing. Those eliminated in Week 4 are now allowed to enter. Even if you didn't participate in the season, you can still enter!
The Redemption Jam deadline will be extended to match with when Season 8 ends.

The past 2 weeks or so, I've been learning something new! Models on skins! The ears and tail wiggle! Gif below of the tail.

It requires a mod, but my commissions are open for these and skins! Simple stuff for now because I'm still learning.
