Hey, it's been a while huh? I wanted to hop on this account to give an explenation for my absence, and also talk about the new account i will be posting on.

TW: Mental health struggles, Dissociation, Identity crisis

So firstly my mental health; I've been struggling mentally for a long time, but it had gotten way worse a while ago. I don't remember much because at some point I started dissociating.

(dissocating is basically a stress response, where you detach from reality. Think about it like going on autopilot on a test. Like, there's a test you're super stressed about that you're going to do, but when you walk out you don't really remember what had happend, it's like your memory about it is all foggy.)

I apoligize that I can't go in depth of everything especially what had caused it but I do kinda remember the feeling, when I stopped being active here. I felt helpless, I didn't know what to post because I felt like I posted for the happiness of others and not myself.

I didn't even know if i knew myself, which is one of the major factors of why I made a new account. But the reason i'm not going to keep posting on this account is basically, I want to try to avoid reminders of how i felt then. JUST TO BE CLEAR, you're allowed to bring up memories you had with this account! It's just being logged into the account feels a bit uncomfortable for me I'm sorry.

Speaking of sorry, I'm sorry for seemingly abandoning you all. I isolate myself when I feel alot of stress, people I know in real life are included. I'm not trying to make myself seem pitiful saying all this, I'm trying to explain not excuse leaving you all hanging.

I'm sorry that I stopped responding, you're allowed to be upset at me, you're allowed to be angry. I want to work all this out, I want to talk with you guys again. I'm still not in the clear when it comes to my negative emotions but, even though life is painful for the most part, I want to live till the end if that means I can be with my friends longer.

I’m gonna be honest i’m not feeling well mentally (but please don’t worry). i have a hard time reaching out when i feel unhappy, i usually isolate myself thinking that it would make me feel better. I’ve said that “i’m feeling better” and that “i’ll be active soon” but i’m trying to be transparent, i don’t know. I want to be active, i want to talk to all my amazing friends but i also know i’m unreliable. I’m trying my best i swear that i am, i’m trying to be active in this community again as soon as posible that’s what i want. I’m sorry incase i made anyone worry

Giving time to yourself is the best thing you can do in this situation. Sure, it helps a ton to talk to people, but if you don't want to do that, you can totally just relax, take time off or enjoy the things that do make you happy. We'll all be here, and I don't think some of us are leaving anytime soon. Hope you get better, Tim. Wishing you a great birthday! :D

so haha, chat i might have NOT locked in good enough. So i basically left for a bit because i wanted to put all my energy on a writing competition. I was way too ambitous with the story to finish it all in 7 days. However, kinda like the concept of the story so i might do something with it in the future

Either way, the competion seemed to be a yearly thing so i think i'll try again next year. And next year i'll hopefully not try to join 7 days before it ends

Also update on me working on the art drinks:

I may or may not have skipped taking my medicine (i will not say why or what the medicine is) so i kinda felt lowkey not good and that's why i haven't been doing the rest of the requests. oopsie

Anyways chat i'm taking them again and i feel a bit better, might start working at the bar again tomorrow, apolocheese for the minor inconvenience

Before i potentially drift off to sleep, let me just tell you about something that happened today

I was about to go into the library when i noticed an older woman with a rollator (not sure what's it called in english but it's basically extra support for walking) she seemed to be heading towards the doors to the library so i asked if she was going inside too

she says "ja (translation: yes)" and then she smiles as i hold open the door for her and says "tack unge man (translation: thank you young man)"

She seemed pretty happy about me holding up the door for her and i'm glad that i could make someone i didn't know happy even if it's just for a short while. So this is basically a reminder to do kind gestures no matter how small, even if you don't know them

today i'm feeling sappy (maybe it's because i'm tired) either way let me have this
