if i were to make a skin based on a character from the Spiderverse movies or Arcane, what character / version of that character would you want to see?

EDIT: idk how long it'll take for me to get to these (even the ones I'm most interested in)... so keep that in mind lol

pumpkinpvtch • 2024-11-29 01:23:40

Yuffies STOP I LOVE BOTH OF THESE IDEAS!! for both: what version of the character? (e.g. Gwen in full costume, Gwen in full cost...
Kirigiri • 2024-11-28 20:41:15

Yuffies LEST IS SUCH A COOL ONE I WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT OF THAT! What version of Mel most interests you o-o?
CausticSun • 2024-11-28 19:21:31

god i love both her designs, but i'd suggest her s1 design solelyyyy because the second season is still so new + i can't find any good refs of it (except for in the show) myself.

pumpkinpvtch gwen pleasee <3

Fawne weimaraner, wolpertinger, heimerdinger (summoning Kirigiri so she can give a suggestion as an actual fan)
Yuffies • 2024-11-28 18:59:15

I LOVE HEIMERDINGER but idk how well he would transfer to a skin... maybe heimerdinger pixel art can exist someday, or he could be carrying his poor (which would be on his 'head', like those steve skins with the head as a block ykwim?)

Kirigiri Spider Gwen and Season 2 episode 7 powder (iykyk)

could be a hot take but one of my least fave parts of skinmaking is the hair (if the skin calls for it)

when skindex said they were gonna make website changes, i was hoping for something more than a site banner change .n.

did anyone catch any other website updates?

KutestKoala me tooo i wanted an editor update sighh i htink they mostly just updated the banners and the policies :I
Yuffies • 2024-08-30 14:23:04

I KNOW THEIR EDITOR IS SO OUTDATED I WAS ALSO HOPING FOR SOME UPDATES TO IT ;-;

wqffles i havent seen anything else yet... they added a lil bit down the bottom of the page explaining about why they had the dm...
Yuffies • 2024-08-30 14:22:46

aah okay so nothing much. if we have to look this closely to see any sort of changes I think that speaks volumes about the amount of change that's actually been created.

Fawne i believe they may have updated all their t&c, privacy policy, contact us...stuff. all the tabs at the bottom. way more ...
Yuffies • 2024-08-30 14:22:07

yeah, i suppose the only changes were just in regards to the dmca stuff, unfortunately. ALSO... responding to your other comment the new banners are really ugly and don't mesh with their jackolantern theme at ALL. i just didn't want to be rude in my wallpost ;-;

pumpkinpvtch • 2024-08-30 02:19:53

SO REAL

Fawne • 2024-08-29 20:36:30

also the new site banners are awful, truly awful. like i would have preferred them to just..not update the site if that's what it was gonna be LOL especially going into fall...like...that's when their all orange jackolantern theme works best??

wqffles • 2024-08-29 20:35:48

i havent seen anything else yet... they added a lil bit down the bottom of the page explaining about why they had the dmca tho

Fawne • 2024-08-29 20:35:07

i believe they may have updated all their t&c, privacy policy, contact us...stuff. all the tabs at the bottom. way more legal jargon (some of which seems a lil concerning for the userbase) & there's a dmca disclaimer on p much every page. they also give the option to "opt out" of them sharing/selling your data now, but the process of actually opting out is..even shadier lmao idk if it's worth the effort.

not sure if it's ACTUALLY new though, hadn't been on skindex in a WHILE before this happened. feels like whatever dmca they got rlly scared them though

coming out of hibernation (not skin posting hibernation, unfortunately) to say billie eilishes new album is AWESOME SO FAR! ive only listened to a few songs on it but its incredible. ive never been much of a billie fan- i always appreciated the messages she spreads, her personality shown online, and her art (it just wasn't my thing)- but this album so far has made me like a superfan LMAO. its like the most/least billie thing ive heard (evolution of her style, maybe? its like im seeing a side of her shes never shown before, if that makes sense)
