SURVIVAL DOWNLOAD: http://adf.ly/q2cc6
*The survival world will differ from the creative world in aesthetic, as minecraft has populated its terrain.
"Our way lay alongside the Euphrates by the place known as al-Idhar, which is a water-logged jungle of reeds, inhabited by nomad Arabs called al-Ma'adi. They are brigands, of the Rafidi sect. They came out upon a party of poor brethren who had fallen heind our troop, and stripped them of everything down to their shoes and wooden bowls. They fortifty themselves as it were with this jungle and areable to defend themselves in it against all attacks. Savage beasts also inhabit this jungle, in large numbers. Our journey through this Idhar took three days' march, and thereafter we arrived at the city of Wasit..."
- The Rihla, Ibn Battutah (translated by Tim Mackintosh-Smith)
Months ago this terrain, inspired by the jungles of the Euphrates and the desert crag of the region's arid climate, al-Idhar was originally intended for the server Morientis Harenas, which has been canceled. In order to save this creation from falling into obscurity on a personal hard drive, it has been released to the public. So lose yourself in the river jungle, explore the desert caverns, and trek through the dry sands...
