Overview:
Here you'll see a 1:5 recreation of two exotic islands wedged between Tunisia and Sicily: Malta and Gozo. Sharp cliffs, productive farms, along rolling hills and valleys all come together to create a Mediterranean paradise. Furthermore, Malta and Gozo feature road systems, and will eventually include ancient cities and remnants of a far distant past. This blocky escape was made using real-world data in combination with well developed techniques to create the most realistic result.

How can I visit Malta and Gozo in-game?
In order to see this map, you must visit Respublica, the roleplaying server. Their website is located at: http://respublica.enjin.com/. At the moment, both the website and the server are under development, so stay tuned for any updates from their team. So far, Respublica looks like nothing else I've seen before; I expect it to turn out magnificently!.

I noticed Respublica closed in August. Will this map be made available for download, as it's not being used for the server anymore? This would make a fantastic and beautiful survival map. I tried contacting RAD today but I worry that he won't be reachable via Planet Minecraft anymore.
This is like so so Awesome Amazing and Fantastic

I don't plan on releasing a download, since this was made for the server, Respublica. However, the owner has said that if in the future he has no use for the map, he will allow the download to be released to the public.

Hi, I guess i'm the "owner" of the map, lacking any other description, it's not going to be released for quite a while. The server http://respublica.enjin.com/ is the only place to see it at the moment.

Very beautiful, half my family is from malta so this is pretty cool! How do you do the farmland, by hand or with another program?

The farms were done by hand, in a sense. I guided their placement, but didn't place every block manually.

Glad to hear you like the terrain ;)
