What version of minecraft should I use in this map? I tried vanilla 1.12.2 and 1.7.10 yet the map renders horrible.

Actually Builder's Refuge has kinda a self service world policy so you can upload it or download it without any mod interference. I popped it onto the server to add several of the cave entrances scatted though out the area.
