A somber and foreboding fortress sits on a black lake, its presence plunged into a long, lamenting silence. The darkness incarnates rusting chandeliers and creaking gates into the wails of monsters and devils ringing through the halls, agonizing murmurs and diseased whispers crying behind doors. The laughter of the dead follows to their graves those who find their fate sealed in the lonely halls of Othrond Castle.


This is a Gothic castle/cathedral hybrid designed to be as realistic and medieval as a fantastical structure can be. It features a complete interior with many highly detailed and furnished rooms. It is composed of 4 main floors and several towers, all reachable with spiral staircases. The interior is lit by chandeliers and wax candles. Since Chunky hides the effects of connected textures, I've included in-game high brightness screenshots to give it true justice.

This project will be part of Obrigueran, a map where all my medieval builds will come together into 1 world. It was made to work specifically with the Conquest Resource Pack + Optifine.
