This was another rather fun build to make. :) The idea was to try to create a large structure with some smaller pieces to curiously see whether I could essentially make a collection of structure pieces which could be mixed and matched and so on to gather it all into various different shapes and sizes of resulting structures, and I'll frankly say I didn't pull it off, but the outcome was still pretty fun for me so that will do. :)

As for the lore? Well, I quite liked the thought of a powerful wizard with many disciples roaming the halls of the castle, all renown and affluent in their kingdom overall, seen to be the most capable residents there are with the wizard owning it at the very top and prime of the bunch. The island gets a fair bit of trade and tourism from ships visiting from time to time and sometimes a little fleet will come with larger amounts of goods and perhaps even new potential casters of their own, aiming for the right to live within the castle walls and learn from the wizard too.

I know- It's fairly simple. It's not that special and it's rather boring lore, I guess, but I thought it seemed nice and fit it, so. :) Yay. Hopefully this seems nice to others. ^~^

CreditThis was built on Builder's Refuge and like usual did involve use of world edit in its creation. :)

Screenshot Overhaul : by Uknownymous 06/26/2020 12:43:12 pmJun 26th, 2020

So, like I have for four submissions already, I have changed up the screenshots for this submission to portray the build more fittingly and appealingly, to my own personal interests. Whether it is for the better, again, I do not know, but I know that I prefer this at least and it should be the last of my submissions right now that I intend to change the images for before returning to just posting newer builds again.

I am confused about what you think is a datapack here, but-
I asked the chat and TheCommander158 said:
"Oh you need to put it into the world folder itself, there are datapack folders within itself. Watch the xisuma video on it"
So hopefully that helps.

If you were thinking of shaderpacks instead though then I used Optifine and installed Sildur's Vibrant Shaders in the shaderpacks folder in .minecraft.

Thank you for your seriously kind view, MinecraftLover. :D I appreciate that a lot, and well, you can try adding things like depth to the walls and decorating with patterns, windows, foundation, bringing out depth in detail with stairs and slabs and things like cobblestone walls and fence and so on- But not too much of it, but just enough to add some depth and detail into it, and it can help to practice with different shapes as well to give yourself more freedom, because some of the most appealing detailing is done with shapes and patterns after all. :) It also helps to pick some blocks that go together well for your build when planning it, like how many builds go with things like logs and wood to start with, but then extending that with things like stone bricks, sandstone, and so on, and overall any blocks can be used well if you put enough effort into trying to make them work and manage to pick blocks they can shine with, as I've even seen people make purpur blocks look good - and that's hard - so- Good luck. :) And hopefully this helps. :D
