Hello again PM! Today I am presenting Derivation 1.16! We will get all disclaimers out of the way here at the beginning.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Derivation v5.2 is a Texture pack created by Levaunt and officially discontinued in 2013:
About:
Derivation is a 32x32 texture pack that draws inspiration from old and new RPGs. It is created with 100% Pixel Art in order to fit with the Minecraft theme.
Terms of Use:
DO NOT re-upload this pack and claim it as your own. You WILL be caught, as many others have before.
DO NOT steal any textures and put them into a remix pack or slightly edit them. No exceptions.
DO create a review and/or video of this pack. So long as you link back to this page or the one on Minecraftforum.net.
DO use the texture pack when creating an adventure map or project and suggest that people use it. So long as you link back to this page or the one on Minecraftforum.net.
Disclaimer: The painting (kz.png) in this pack are pixelated versions of other artists work. All new paintings for 1.21 are from J.C. Barquet. Full credit is given.
Please, by all means, respect the wishes (Dont's AND Do's) of this pack's original creator.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I discovered and have been using this pack since shortly after it was discontinued. As Minecraft evolved I would temporarily switch to other updated packs to avoid having vanilla textures showing up, but in the end I would always find a way to fanagle new textures out of the what was already living in the pack, some from the main pack but mostly from the secondary art in the CTM folders etc. That has been my passion and drive in this piece of work over the years, to keep all updated textures as true to the original style of the pack as I possibly could, hopefully those familiare with the original pack will find this submission satisfactory and see it as the true homage that it is meant to be.
I will attempt but do not expect to be able to maintain this pack with any degree of regularity, I enjoy digital art very much but I had never done pixel art before this project. I was surprised to learn just how challenging it is to coax realistic textures in a 32 x 32 space and salute all of you "regular" artists highly. Levaunt did make a very helpful tutorial here at PM which helped me wrap my head around this stuff and I encourage anybody interested to check it out and try their hand at this, I have also included all available Derivation artwork in subfolders at the start of the pack for you to play with:)
Lastly I want to thank the original artist for delivering such a beautiful and inspiring piece to work on, so many of these tiny designs still sit as mini works of art for me.
Please enjoy!
P.S. As horses exist in quite a variety they have been given their own spot below.

Good day! All new textures are in the pack except for the Shelf Mushrooms as they seem to be still under development with possible changes. Trims also now work again.
Please Enjoy!

Have something to say?
Later!
Have a great weekend!
I hope you enjoy using them as much as I did making them!
I'm currently working on the new sulfur and cinnabar textures, I really like the colour pallets that were used for them.
Thanks again!
No offence, but I'm just wondering why someone who's behind a big, shiny $ pack like ModernArch RTX is asking for this? Is it for personal use?
Thanks
